There will no doubt be some who haven't signed up that turn up on the day, they will get put into teams then.

We also need teams to pick a name (keep it clean and tasteful!!) and a colour, robots will need to display their team colour, you dont have to paint your robot our anything, but some form of indentifying mark so the audience knows whos with who.
