ACTIVATE!
Another aggressive start at the beginning of this round as Traffic Warden makes a beeline for Gravity for the umpteenth time, but Jack quickly swings Gravity around and dodges the onslaught, trying to go after Magnitude instead. However, the turn sideways exposes itself to attack and Magnitude rushes in underneath the rear ground clearance! The lifting tusk activates immediately and holds Gravity aloft, allowing Joey to fire the flipper and send Gravity up into the atmosphere! The wedge shaped machine flips over in the air and comes crashing down just inside the arena, but swiftly self-rights. Unfortunately for Team Orr this means Team Braveheart can come in from behind and before Jack can get anywhere Traffic Warden€™s clamps have come in again, holding Gravity in position before the rigid U-shaped machine reverses across the arena towards the pit! Magnitude obliges and helps out its teammate by reversing into the pit release button, and as the chasm descends Traffic Warden swings its prey around and drives it into the abyss, leaving the Dutch realie to disappear in the customary puff of smoke. However, it now holds the title of best performing realie in Mechanical Maelstrom, ever.
CEASE!
A short match ensued here and Gravity is pulled down into the pit of oblivion; Traffic Warden [#8] and Magnitude advance to the final!
