All tactics given, I'm feeling motivated...... Why not hammer out two fights in one day?

The third round is quickly underway and all four machines get off to an aggressive start. The immediate onslaught is made by the rigid U-shape of Traffic Warden, which races across the arena on a crash course for Gravity, which runs forward to meet the onslaught. However, that old problem of Gravity€™s resurfaces in that the rear 2WD causes it to wheelie as it runs forward, and it beaches itself on Traffic Warden, who ploughs it back into the spike strip at 15mph! The clamps come into play, and we can also see a sizeable dent in the 4mm polycarbonate armour of Gravity! With Gravity clamped nice and securely Traffic Warden begins to reverse towards the pit release button, but he€™s wagering without the other machines in the arena!

Macduff charges into the rear of the reversing Traffic Warden, easily breaching that 1cm ground clearance and using the forks to hoist the combined 200kg of Traffic Warden and Gravity into the air before it goes on a box rush to slam them both into the corner of the arena! The killsaws rise up, with a smattering of titanium sparks on the bottom of Traffic Warden, and the impact with the wall causes Steven to lose his grip on the realie. Gravity manages to push underneath Traffic Warden now and fires its huge flipper, but the huge robot is turned over rather than thrown out of the arena by this attack, and Joey now comes rushing in to help Steven out!

As Traffic Warden has been flipped onto the top of Macduff the 5th Kody begins to reverse backwards across the arena with the Scottish robot in tow, but he€™s reckoning without Magnitude, who comes in behind Macduff with the electric tusk, breaching the 15mm rear ground clearance and hoisting Kody€™s robot into the air! This sudden slope results in Traffic Warden sliding back down to the ground before Magnitude fires its flipper, sending Macduff flying through the air to land propped up on the side wall!

Things looking dangerous for Team Zlayerz here, but Gravity comes running on the rescue and knocks its teammate free in what has undoubtedly become a teamed match up! The other team are quickly on the attack though, with Traffic Warden catching Gravity from behind and slamming it against the arena wall again as the clamps come into play, holding the Dutch machine in a tight place before Steven begins to reverse across the arena! Macduff tries to intervene, but Magnitude is in there too, driving under the side skirt of the Scottish-themed robot with that nifty tusk before Macduff can try and somehow free Gravity from the hydraulic grasp of Traffic Warden!

Things are now going in favour of the Team Braveheart/Picus combo it would seem as Steven swiftly drags Gravity away from its teammate, whose wheels spin aimlessly in the air as Magnitude pushes further underneath and across the arena, towards the side wall! Kody waits with bated breath and guns his motors to try and escape from the inevitable fate, but it isn€™t happening and with a flick of the huge flipper Magnitude scores its second OOTA of the contest, knocking Macduff over the fence and saving Gravity from a sure pitting.

CEASE!

Team Zlayerz/Orr fought hard but they were overpowered at the expense of Macduff the 5th; Traffic Warden [#8], Magnitude and Gravity advance to the annihilator final!
