This has been a worthy tactic for the Eye, but it€™s Wedga who gets underneath, and tosses it in the air! Look at the air-time, but Eye of Ran recovers by staying on its right side up! Great attack there by the 16th seeded machine, indeed! However, Eye of Ran fights back! It slams in with the rear again, but this time, it gets underneath the machine from Shrewsbury, and turns with the blade!

Oh, the sparks fly and both robots go spinning away from each other! I don€™t really think that there was too much damage at all, though. Wedga is okay as it slams into Eye of Ran and carries it towards the wall! Will the Eye go out?!

NO! Eye of Ran bounces off the wall and hangs on by the skin of its chinny-chin-chin! Great chance there by the Shrewsbury machine, but it just couldn€™t put it home! Eye of Ran goes to work again, as it spins up, and slams into the side of Wedga with the wedge! Now, it turns with the blade€¦Wedga tries to get away€¦

Too late. Sparks fly, and both robots go spinning away from each other! Wedga is not damaged much, but Eye of Ran will score points because of the sparks. Both robots are very evenly matched right now, and this is a very good battle we€™re seeing here. The robots continue their battle, and Eye of Ran nearly gets flipped over by Wedga Triton! Wedga now slams into Eye of Ran before it gets up to speed again, and starts going towards the wall€¦

OH! That is quite a flip, but the bad news is that it€™s NOT OUT! Eye of Ran is hanging on in there, even after THAT flip! Great defence there by the Pontefract machine! Now, Eye of Ran is spinning that blade up again, and€”uh oh, this does not look good€¦ Wedga tries getting away, but€¦

The slam with the blade sends the seed spinning away€¦ but I think it€™s caused some significant damage! Wedga starts limping across the arena floor, and€”OH! Now I see what it€™s done; that was a piece of rubber off the wheel! Look at that, it€™s lying helpless on the arena floor, and that will give Eye of Ran a huge advantage€¦ or will it?! Wedga still gets underneath the rookie undercutter, and carries it over to the wall!

Again, Eye of Ran escapes on the brink of defeat! Both robots are having a great battle here, very even€¦ at this point I cannot decide a winner. A wheel was shredded on Wedga, but still, it€™s been very good, despite that. Eye of Ran now spins up€”

Oh, the humanity! Sparks are littering the arena floor, and Wedga is thrashed away by the attack! Wedga fights back, and FLIPS the Eye on its back! Eye of Ran is on its back, and taking this to advantage, Wedga slams into the Eye, and carries it to the walls! Is this the end for Eye of Ran?!

NO IT€™S NOT! Eye of Ran comes crashing back down on its right side up! Now, the eye is gleaming furiously on Eye of Ran, as it spins up! Uh oh€”

OMG, that is a HUGE hit! The sparks fly and Eye of Ran just spins Wedga away, and now, Wedga is in trouble! Another wheel has been shredded, and Wedga is in a huge amount of trouble as it is driving in circles! Eye of Ran looked like it was finished, but it comes back in stunning form! As for Wedga, it looks like it€™s the end of it. Very valliant competitor, and so close to winning this one, but in the end, the Refbot goes and counts it out!

Now, the pit release has been activated, and finally Napoleon starts pushing Wedga€¦ TOWARDS THE DROP ZONE?!?!?!?!!!! OH NO, how cruel! House robots, please have some mercy over the competitors! Too late now, as an ocean buoy is about to fall down on the 16th seeds. Joey counts along with the audience!
