From Nottingham in Nottinghamshire, Ripper Evo!

Ripper Evo has come a long way since it first made its debut in Robot Wars Series 7, where it got defeated by Firestorm. It€™s also agile at a top speed of about 12mph, and its main feature is the full pressure CO2 flipper, which can flip robots easily over the wall. However, it WILL run out of CO2, no doubt.

From Pontefract, in Yorkshire, Nidhogg Cubed!

Nidhogg was beaten by Son of Ripper last year, but it€™s back looking better than ever, with a barrel wedge shape design and a nice crusher and lifter. It€™s got great synergy, but its weakness is the petrol-powered drive motor, and someone putting a potato in the engine exhaust.

From Texas, in the USA, D3!

D3 is the machine that will bring death to the opponent, with a beautiful flipper. This can flip up to 300kg which is decent enough, but there€™s only one little quirk. THE WHEELS ARE 75% EXPOSED! :shock:

D3 is the first one to move, and faster of the two robots. Ripper chases Nidhogg Evo around the arena, but D3 immediately gets underneath Nidhogg€™s rear, and tries flipping it€¦ it ALMOST tipped Nidhogg over, but it lands back on its wheels. Now, Nidhogg fights back immediately, and gets under D3, there! It brings that crusher down€”
FLIP!
OH Ripper Evo crashes their party and flips Nidhogg over, and sends it onto its back! Nidhogg lets go of D3, and D3 finally self-rights! That 4.5mm hardox is okay, and it comes out unscathed, but is Nidhogg having problems with the self-righting, there I wonder? No, it uses the beak to tumble itself back over to its wheels. Very innovative, I must say. Nidhogg goes away to find D3, and it gets underneath! Now, D3 is being carried over to Mindbender€™s CPZ! Ripper Evo tries to save D3 from danger, but€¦
CRASH!!!
OMG! That hit is out of this world! The impact sends D3 spinning away with one wheel totally ripped off! Now, D3 is running in circles, with nowhere to go at all€¦ oh dear. Refbot is no longer amused and starts counting D3 out.

Sir Killalot comes out of his CPZ, and picks up D3 with its pincers, but Ripper and Nidhogg are still fighting! Ripper hits the pit button, and finally, D3 is carried towards the wall, and Sir K drops it out of the arena! But Nidhogg isn€™t finished with Ripper yet, as it grabs Ripper and dumps it down the pit€”hahahaha€”Nidhogg just drives itself down the pit as well! Ah, now I€™ve seen everything.
