ive never glued the magnets back on such a big motor , but for a drill motor in a FW, I used araldite , which is pretty much just 30 minute epoxy , if you can get hold of some , jb weld should be perfect.
Dowel sizes are 7mm and 6.35mm I think. Have a read of this http://www.technobots.co.uk/Technical/G ... MagMod.htm you should be able to sort the dowels out from there.

Thanks Andy
I take it the dowels are aluminiun too, like the rings.

Shame the link didn'teven after several severe hits by Hypnodisc they remained in position and intact
Arrrr Jamie ,it never did after, thats the benefits of experience, its when nothing is learned ,that when its sad
Hypnodisc beat us two times doing what they did best ,the second time they took out a motor, smashed the case oval,
so -- we moved the motors inboard, after that we took many hits from powerful spinners and none stopped us again,
even a robot with a lawnmower type drum on the front at Enginuity!!!!!! and kept going through, taking
serious
damage, the last one got us though Exterminator, I could and should have done better in that scrap, but got cocky, and
got what we deserved drove crap, the rest is history, Bulldog fought more than its share of spinners over the
years
everyone taught us new lessons, happy days,
