Wouldn't Tornado technically be immobilised if stuck over the pit with it's Anti-Crusher frame.
My reasoning behind this is that if it's not driving around it's out. Just push into the open pit and wait for it to be counted out.

I don't want people to think I'm selfish, but this competition is going by the Series 7 rules, and I don't think Tornado's frame would be allowed again
Correct if I'm wrong. I don't mean to offend. If the rules say Tornado's frame is allowed, then it can have it![]()
Some nominations for the awards would be nice, too![]()
Tornado will be using the frame. The rules probably say it is allowed to have it
I know people have other things to do, but don't forget about me![]()
Don't worry, Elliot, people are reading. They'll comment if they want to.
Justr make sure you don't feel too alone.![]()
Expect the first grand final fight in the next few days, guys![]()
Sorry for the wait
BATTLE ONE
From Huntingdon, in Cambridgeshire, the number 2 seeds, Tornado!
A box with interchangable weapons, including a spinning disc, a scoop and a lifter. For this fight, they have added a steel cage with a spinning disc on the front. Destructive of course, but the frame can be bent.
From Edinburgh, in Scotland, the number 1 seeds and reigning champion, Typhoon II!
They did well in the heats, but how will they fare here? Those four rotating claws can cause serious damage, but it is unstable at low speeds and has no self-righting mechanism.
Roboteers, stand by!
B1: Tornado
B2: Typhoon II
House Robots: Dead Metal and Sgt Bash
3-2-1: Activate!
Tornado's plan is to use the frame to stop Typhoon II getting at them. Will it work? Typhoon II spins up to speed and approaches. Tornado charges right in! Sparks fly! Typhoon II knocked to one side! The spinning disc on the front of Tornado has stopped, though! Typhoon II back up to full speed, but Tornado, with that frame, is far too strong for them. Typhoon II gets away, and Tornado gives chase. Something came off Tornado? What was it? I think it was the belt for the spinning disc! Typhoon II spinning, but not as fast, this time. Tornado crashes into them again! Pushing them into the CPZ! The reigning champions are in real trouble! Sgt Bash comes in. Typhoon II is away, though. Tornado comes in again, and pushes them into the wall! The frame has done a good job so far. It looks bent, but I don't think that will matter. They have 4WD, and are simply mopping the arena floor with Typhoon II! Typhoon II cannot get free! They are not spinning anymore, I don't think. The reigning champions, from RAF Edinburgh, could go flying out here if they don't do something. Tornado presses the pit release button. Typhoon II is away to the top of the arena. Tornado follows and slams them into the wall, and towards Dead Metal! He gets his claws around the spinning shell! Tornado crashes in again. Typhoon II breaks free, only to be pushed by Tornado again, into an angle grinder! Typhoon II has had everything thrown at it. Tornado won't stop there though, and smashes into them again! But, Typhoon II is now pushing back! Just a bit, though, as Tornado backs away to come in again! So, aggression from Typhoon II there. If this goes to the judges, that will count for them. Typhoon II tries to get around the sides, but Tornado swings around to counter it, pushing them across the arena floor and ALMOST into the pit! The last ten seconds count down. Tornado pushes Typhoon II towards the pit, but they get away. This is one of the greatest battles so far in the series. The judges will decide the winner!
Cease!
Both robots are still mobile. It will go to the judges. They'll be looking at Style, Control, Damage and Aggression!
Typhoon II: S: 2 C: 1 D: 2 A: 2 Total: 7
Tornado: S: 2 C: 3 D: 2 A: 3 Total: 10
The judges have made their decision!
Tornado goes through to the grand final!
Typhoon II will go through to the playoff. Next up, though:
Firestorm V VS Traffic Warden
See you then. Also, I'm not too happy with this fight. I still don't think Tornado should have used the Anti-Razer frame, as the name of it suggest why. But, if you're happy with it, that's all that matters![]()
...erm, Traffic Warden?![]()
Sorry![]()
Firestorm V VS Macduff the 4th
Welcome back!![]()
BATTLE TWO
From Durham, in Durham, the number 4 seeds, Firestorm V!
They blazed their way into the grand final in style. That Co2 powered flipper has thrown countless robots out of play, but with 2WD, it isn't the best pusher around.
From Toronto, in Canada, Macduff the 4th!
A 6WD box with interchangable weapons. For this fight, they'll be using the lifting forks. Its well armoured and fast, but the wheels are exposed and how effective is it?
Roboteers, stand by!
B1: Firestorm V
B2: Macduff the 4th
House Robots: Mr Psycho and Shunt
3-2-1: Activate!
Firestorm V straight off and past Macduff the 4th, who swings around to get the forks underneath. Firestorm V turns away, but Macduff the 4th gets underneath and pushes them into the wall! Firestorm V recovers and is away, but Macduff the 4th gives chase. Now Firestorm V turns the tables by swinging under Macduff the 4th, but missing its chance to flip it. Macduff the 4th charges in again, pushing Firestorm V towards the angle grinder! Firestorm V escapes once again and turns under the side to flip Macduff the 4th over! Macduff the 4th against the wall, but using its lifting forks to come back down. OH! Firestorm V got another flip in there, but Macduff the 4th upright once more. At the controls, Kody Kunz. Now Macduff the 4th gets the forks under the side of Firestorm V and lifts them up! Firestorm V in trouble as they push it into Shunt! He brings his axe down, but misses Firestorm V and hits Macduff the 4th! Macduff the 4th isn't happy and lifts Shunt up! Mr Psycho comes in, but now in comes Firestorm V! OHH! It's trying to flip Mr Psycho over! Mr Psycho turns around and brings his hammer down, just as Firestorm V backs away! Macduff the 4th barges into the side of them and back across the arena, into the pit release button! Firestorm V rebounds off the wall and away as the pit descends. One of them could go down it. Macduff the 4th gets under Firestorm V again and pushes it around. Firestorm V swings loose and turns to try and get under again, though. Macduff the 4th counters and tries to get the forks under the front of Firestorm V, but Firestorm V slides under and flips them OVER! Macduff the 4th, upside down, but that doesn't matter. They can run inverted. Firestorm V tries to flip them again, but Macduff the 4th gets under this time and lifts them up! Firestorm V falls off as they push it, though and they ALMOST flipped Macduff the 4th again! Macduff the 4th turns around and pushes Firestorm V once more towards the pit! OH! Firestorm V is on the edge! Macduff the 4th almost went in, but they lift Firestorm V up once more and PUSH them into the pit! A fantastic fight, but Macduff the 4th goes through to the grand final!
Cease!
Firestorm V has been extinguished!
Macduff the 4th goes through to the grand final!
