Easy to use, good for 3D and 2D, but you carnt do 3D assembly drawings which sucks..

im trying to get solidworks now... if someone can suggest a good easy way to get it id appreciate it... i tried a torrent but i carnt get it to work

ive used solid works and Auto Desk inventor pro. Both are very similar however we can do alot more with our pro Inventor. Would definitely recommend it.

solidworks use to be really easy to get a 'free' copy off .....off their own website but they have closed that loop hole and everything has been tightened up a 1 yr student license cost me with shipping and import £130 :x

I tried to get auto desk inventor pro (at a cost of £50) but I don't have access to a computer powerful enough to run it. So I'm stuck here with pro desktop.

Harry, Go back to your drill motors and chopping board.

Not seen much of the 2012 version... i think what ive done is a really bad example to what can be achieved, im pretty rubbish at CAD to be honest... a bit more practise needed
