As awesome as Tom's paint jobs are, and as frequently as I asked when you were going to get a spiral painted on the disc, I have to say it now looks better without it![]()

have you heard anything more about getting its picture taken with hypno disc?
no news on any pics with hypno.. totaly forgot to be honest...
Good news..
Shrimec FINALY works.. mechanicaly lol.
Think the reason it was failing before was due to a worm gear sliding down the shaft when going one direction- the gear was grub screwed to the shaft which has a flat down the length of it, when it moved forward it rubed on the gearbox front plate causing it to grind then stall..... just put a dimple in it for the grub screw to sit in and it seems to of helped...
now turns over in about a second.
the speedo's are of to dave gamble again so he can repair them... should go back together nicely.
Also should be making a start on the new mounting for the new lipo tomorow.
battery box made, just needs welding up;
Scorpion XXL turned up from robot marketplace, just a picture showing the size difference between the xxl and the sabertooth 10a;
hmm going to have to make a new mount for it.. but it looks like it going to fit, just about!

Might also start on a new armour shell.. due to a few nasty axe's and crushers being made im making a new shell from grade 5 titanium.
360s now running on 6s- its alot better now, so im happy with that.. going to try it with a magnet soon hopefully on some steel flooring..
got 540 half designed... the idea being i can take the blade of and use it for normal events.. put it on and ive got a 6000rpm 4kg blade..
Feedback welcome![]()
Looks rubbish![]()
*puts serious head on*
Looks quite compact, only being a drill and two wheels wide, so should leave enough weight to pack a punch.
looks rate good!
i dont think he was using drills he was gonna use dewalt motors or something like that
I might be nitpicking here but surely deWalts come from drills, just very high end ones?
The design looks absolutely awesome though, very scary![]()
Me and Ed did abit on the PTDR today.. firstly we did the ignition panel;
Then we joined two engines together with a 30degree timing angle..
