Thread: George francis h5 repair?

  1. #1
    hi everyone,

Has anyone ever had anyproblems with one of these? mines got a few damaged tracks on it (not blown up just scratched from being left on shelfs etc ) so ive bridged the 2 gaps that have been made..

the board doesnt seem to be responding at all. ive checked all connections on the PCB and they all seem ok. and the board is deffinatley getting voltage.

the components on the front board dont look damaged either, so im abit confused.

If no one can help but has a spair there willing to sell let me know. Thanks.

Or if anyone could let me know if the voltage regulator on the board is ment to give out +5v or +3v that would help.. its pumping out about 2.15volts- and its connected to the track that was damaged, so im guessing its this thats gone?...

Have tried reading it and compairing it to somthing on maplin/ rs but theres nothing the same.. Im going to make an educated guess at it should be pumping out 5volts.. ill go to maplin tomorow and see if they can match the part.. if it doesnt work then atleast ive worked out what the problem isnt lol
