Wheel Rubber

Hi All

Im looking into changing the rubber on my wheels for something more level and grippy. I need some thing that will attach to the plastic wheel hub without the need for screws

i have been in contact with a company that offer this service but they charge £100

is there a homemade style of thing that will do the job and does anyone know of companies that will put the rubber on the hub nice a professionally ???

Get some moulds machined and cast it in urethane resin?

hehe , ive made moulds (not for urethane but will work)out of plasticine lined with cling film

i made a wheel for a servo motor modified for 360 degrees (for an antweight) , i pressed a wheel sized hole into the plasticine (just ordinary kids playdoh type stuff) and then i pressed a servo horn into the plasticine to leave a servo horn shaped impression . i pressed cling film into all the nooks and crannies , and mixed up some 5 minute epoxy , i casted it and , although the cling film distorted the shape a bit , it fitted the servo ok

I dont know where you would get urethane resin , but i have made tires out of silicone window grout .
