I probably speak from a bit of a good position on the Roboteq as we have had problems with it but we've (or more specifically Paul) have been able to sort them out without going to the extent of sending one back or getting them replaced.
Main three problems we have had are
1) Blown fet - Nice layout on the board easy to replace as they're all on the outside of the board simply de-solder and replace
2) Software corrupted and speedo going spaz - Can be rewritten in most cases in about fifteen minutes with a laptop which we normally have at events
3) Data connector plug has bad connection - standard kit de-solder and replace
The one I got off John Bell was in an awful state when we got it but after about half an hours work it was good as new (even though we've broke it again now- data plug again!!).
Andy

- data plug again!!).
