    yeah, 1 robot = 1 dragster

  6. #96
yes one 'tag team' made of 2 robots requires 2 dragsters. 1 dragster per competitor.

So, if we were to enter 2 robots in different tag teams would we have to build 2 dragsters??

I misunderstood the entry conditions, i thought that it was 1 dragster per team, plus £10.00 per robot to enter.Under the current financial climate i cannot run to the expense of £30.00 plus 3 dragsters plus travel food and accomadation. We have discussed long and hard about this and have come to the decision that Wendy and myself will have to let our tag team partners down as we will no longer be entering our robots for this event.Subject to confirmation from Alex's partner we will still attend with Tiny Toon.
We would have quite happily entered all 3 robots but are unhappy at having to build 3 dragsters to enter when we primarily want to fight robots. One per team would have been a bit of fun, but keeping three robots running, whilst also building three dragsters is just to much, financially and time wise.

1 dragster per team is perfectly fine
I think this is where the confusion sets in. That's quoting Grant from 1st May.

I too misunderstood the entry conditions it seems, as I thought since the £10 and dragster entry covered the requirements for the whole team, I could enter two robots without the need for an additional dragster.

Glad i made a dragster ages ago at college for a project, otherwise i wouldnt of bothered.

Jamie- it doesnt bother me if a flipper wins aslong as its not john lears. Id hate even more for a 13.6kg block on wheels to win...Zzzz
