Seung Mina V [1] vs. PsycloniZer

Run straight at him, whether he's spun up or not. Well, actually, not completely straight; I want to drive into his direction of spin so he doesn't hit the side of my flipper (that'd be catastrophic for me), but the front of the flipper. Against the flipper front itself, his blows should be largely ineffective and then I can slow the hammers down, get him fully onto the wedge, run to the wall and eject him from the warzone. If he gets away somehow, keep at it. I'm not going to let him be the aggressor.

in response to that Liam, since you began Team Builders you have retired altogether and after that came semi-back as you called it to only enter tournaments every so often and not as a writer, it wasnt hard to assume Team Builders was cancelled through all this

but thanks for letting us know it isnt cancelled, Team WTF, lets get cracking!

Both machines head out of their corners, PsycloniZer beginning to get that spinning ring up to speed while Seung Mina clearly has other plans, ramming across the arena top stop the spinning before it€™s too late. But again the benefit of having a 2-wheel drive is slapped in Kody€™s face as PsycloniZer neatly evades the onslaught from the reigning champion, allowing enough time for the hammers to have become nothing more than a blur as PsycloniZer malevolently moves in for another attack, gracefully heading towards Seung Mina V with an obvious motive - destroy!
Seung Mina V is not fooled though and drives full pelt at PsycloniZer, aiming for the direction of the spin so that the hammers will be deflected by the wedge! Andy tries valiantly to stop this happening by jerking to the right and aiming for the side of Seung Mina, but Mina is fast and powerful due to the lynch motors in the drive and is successful in this onslaught, ramming PsycloniZer towards the arena wall, but unfortunately for Kody and Andy Growler€™s CPZ is the direction they€™re headed and a 450kg house robot is enough to block their passage to the arena wall.
The careering pair collide with Growler, whose awesome jaws grab hold of a hammer of PsycloniZer, ramming across the arena now and slamming Andy€™s machine into the arena spike, which leaves a dent in the hardox armour! Growler begins to reverse towards the CPZ with PsycloniZer in tow, but Mina rushes in for a side on attack and with a flick of the powerful flipper Growler is on his back, taking Andy with him before relinquishing his grip while upside down! PsycloniZer tries to drive away, but the drive has been reversed and it goes backwards into Growler, the momentary confusion allowing Seung Mina V to dart in and ram it across the arena to the side wall again, firing the flipper to send PsycloniZer sky high before it lands on the rails, balancing worryingly for a few moments before toppling back into the arena and driving back into the security in the centre of the Burrow. The ring spins up again, and PsycloniZer dodges another box-rush from Seung Mina V before whacking the champion from behind, spinning it around and slamming it into the arena spike, leaving a small dent in the front flipper. Mina is far from defeated though and turns to attack again, this time successful as it catches PsycloniZer with the wedge in the direction of the spin and ram it across the arena and into the CPZ again, this time with Mr. Psycho€™s hammer coming crashing down onto PsycloniZer before Seung Mina V rams Andy again, firing the flipper and tossing PsycloniZer on top of Mr. Psycho! The heavyweight house robot twists and PsycloniZer falls back to the ground, but is caught in the massive claw of the 600kg monster and finds itself being crushed, Mr. Psycho gaining a good grip before hoisting PsycloniZer aloft and driving to the middle of The Burrow in order to spin wildly before releasing PsycloniZer and watching it bounce along the arena floor and into the pit release button! The siren wails and the chasm descends, but there€™s no time left for either robot to implement this hazard into their battle strategies as the buzzer sounds for the end of the match.

Both robots still mobile at the end of the match, so it will go to the judges.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while.

I have exams at the moment, so I haven't had time to write fights of a decent standard. But this ISN'T cancelled and I will try and get back on track after the exams, which end iat the end of June, k?
