    Ok picture the scenario,

hornet disc spinning + bolt lying on floor which i didnt notice + resultant vertical motion of said bolt into two strip lights in my garage = one cool explosion but a very unhappy father

Kenny and anyone else going vertical, look up

    Did this happen?

Yup, still sweeping up the glass now

Theres a reason i stand behind a plate of titanium/polycarb when i test out hornet :P

    Well,

I am now running hornet on 7 A123 cells as one is dead and the magmotor is now made up from two different magmotors and has a bent shaft but the bulkhead is repaired and the drive and everything else works fine.

O and last week i sent an old angle grinder armature into my garage door denting it badly. My dad really doesnt like hornet much

cool im thining about a123 batteries and might be running 7 cells what chargers do you use? 2 mags sounds good then i think we need a video of the testing/garage make over

I use a lipo dapter (A123 version) with my astroflight nicad/nimh charger.

Charger was pricey so there was no point buying a new one.

I dont bother balancing the cells. Even with the abuse I have put them through they are never that out so I dont see much point.

Lol not 2 mags, I wish! No the magmotor in hornet is now made up from the good parts from two nackered magmotors, a frankenmag if you will
