On The Saint I use straps similar to the type you use to stop a suitcase from opening, or tying down something on a roof rack, they have a quick release lock can be cut to the correct length with a sharp blade and the clasp tightens the more force that€™s applied to it up to about 1/2 tonne

i got some cable ties that are about 20mm thick, found them under the seat in my van when i brought it. never seen them as big as these before, found about 50 of them
