Resoldering nimh packs

i am trying to repair a nimh pack that the tab has come off on. (The very bottom tab that connects the 2 rows of batteries). i have fine sanded the battery but still cant get a good stick with the solder. should i sand the tab surface aswell?

Is your soldering iron hot enough? What are you using? thats normaly the reason for it not working.

Yeah, no wonder your having a few probs. Get one of these - Antex HP80 80W 230V. Only £10.11 from Technobots.co.uk. Will make it alot easier and faster and better connection.
