Hello every

Grant and i got back from the alps this weekend so thought id give you an update.

The run up to the event is going quite smooth, still plenty to do though! We may be changing the floor to 4mm hardox but this depends on our time.

We would also like to thank ALK Engineering who have kindly sponsored part of the prize by machining parts of the FRA trophy and donating an astroflight charger.

Theres a video of BonX here Tom, but it doesnt do justice to its speed at all. Ive seen a video of it in combat somewhere, cant find it. Im sure if Tim gets round to posting hed have some footage, however hes probably not even reading this section. lol

As long as its perfectly flat so we can have blades scraping the floor !!!

When will we know if it is going to be hardox or not, so we can plan accordingly.... (give us enough notice please as it will change the design of my robot)

Not that im taking it too serious... im just going for the loudest ONE bang... after that the robot will probably be in a few pieces but it will be spectacular !!

Do RoboChallenge allow the 2% error on weight?

When are you doing the draw, before the event, or at the event?
