Do you know what I€™ve just laughed my socks off at this mess€¦.

Maybe this will be my first post which will be removed, however I€™ve been quiet for too long !!

After the last FRA meeting I left with a real positive attitude about the future for the UK.

Ed for president€¦, what a joke !!! I€™m sorry but has the world gone mad, people are supporting it???? They obviously haven€™t been involved with him€¦ yet !! Don€™t worry you€™ll get bitten.

He is one of the most destructive people in the robot community, and where there has been trouble in the past , you€™ll bet he€™s in amongst it !!

Don€™t get me wrong, he means well, but I think his business approach to life is very much flawed, and certainly doesn€™t get much respect from me.

The sad part is that people are so two faced that they don€™t dare speak out, well I€™m bored of all this creeping around and its about time the truth came out, well as much as ill say on a public form with the fear of being sued€¦. But everyone knows my number if you want to hear some facts.

And all this support€¦ LMAO !!!

Just reading through his website€¦ where did those endorsements come from€¦. Different to conversations I€™ve had with more than one of them in the not so distant past.

On the running straight for president issue, it doesn€™t matter if he is or isn€™t an event organiser€¦.. he€™s banned for god sake€¦ doesn€™t that tell you something€¦.. and banned for a reason !!

Here€™s a scenario for you€¦. I go out one night and I kill someone€¦.. I go to jail€¦.. 15 years later I come back out after some good behaviour, do I€¦.. a) try and show that I have reformed my character, do I do some volunteer work, help the aged€¦ and gradually work my way into society€¦.. or b) run for priminister? Easy answer I think you€™ll agree.

Also€¦..

a) I work very closely with Geoff Thorpe€¦. Who has read what€™s going on, ( yes another person who has felt his bite before and even went so far to ban him from attending his event ) and instantly we spoke about it, and he himself HAS been in direct communication with ED, I don€™t know the exact details as he says they are confidential, but he has confirmed to me that even on January 13th 2009, the event is still happening, and he still wanted him to grant a licence to use the Robot Wars trade mark.

b) In Ireland, in a reluctant conversation with Alan Young, he admitted that they had been booked to run the event with Ed Hoppitt.

c) And now we have further evidence to suggest this

It doesnt matter even if he now says the event has been cancelled, or hes not running it anymore... what a coincedence.... He in my eyes is STILL an event organisor, and all this crap about not being interested in organising an event..... what a load of nonsence !

Is this the workings with everything considered of your new FRA president, no it is another example of how someone can twist the truth, lie, and manipulate people to his own gain.

Let me put it bluntly€¦. If Ed gets anyway near the FRA€¦.. I€™m off, and I know so are a lot of other people !! The last 18 months have been bliss without him.

HEAR HEAR TO THE EXISTING COMMITTEE€¦ A JOB WELL DONE IN FENDING HIM OFF !!

Just to clarify Jonnos post. We were approached by Robot Arenas Ltd for a qoute to provide an arena. We have supplied them with this but have yet to here back and no booking has been made.

There is, of course, the reason why it all started in the 1st place - that was the fact that the FRA President Manifesto email sent on 31/1/09 was nothing more than spam and I and many others objected most strongly to our personal details being exploited in such a manner.

iv dominated feathers for 2 long and will do for many more years to come with beauty 2

heavys is so much harder in competition its alot harder to dominate, iron awe is doing a great job and has prob done the best for a heavy for as long as i can remember but it will do some beatin to beat what beauty has done :P

but ye HEAVYS is the best weight division
