Hmm, loads to catch up on here...

Andy: All are perfect, youre in

Dan: Yep, thats fine, all allowed in now. :P

    Steve: ...yep

Paul: Its a bit more complicated than that, will PM you about it on ZED.

Rich: Thanks for that, all entries accepted now.

Matty: Yep, spot reserved, along with my right to bug you about it later but if you need any help with batteries just ask and Ill see what I can do.

Elliot: If anything, those are massively underweight vapours...Skullcrusher in particular could do with some changes, its got thin armour, no srimech and a weak weapon when theres enough room in the design to beef up all three without going overweight. Youve avoided the main pitfall of being massively overweight though, so good on you for that.

Id suggest you post those on the How Could I Improve Pt 2 thread for more advice, or email me and Ill be happy to help (even with all this entry sorting :P) but provisionally theyre allowed.

    JAck: Yep, all fine now

    Shane: Yep, all fine

    Right then

    Main Competition

    1:
    Robot Name: Brutalis 2.1
Shape: Like Dantomkia, but with the sides wedged at 42* and rear and the front chisels are now hinged. The front wedge itself is angled at 42* to deflect spinners, but the chisels will easily get under most opponents
    Weight: 100kg
    Length: 70cm
    Width: 70cm
    Height: 15cm
Motivation: 2 x go-kart style wheels, internally mounted near the front of the robot to prevent wheelying. They are mounted on a slant like Tazbot to help manoeuvrability and are right up against the sides to take up less space
    Drive: 2 x LEM-130s at 48v
    Batteries: 6 3600mAh NiCad Battlepacks at 48v
Armour: 5mm hardox monocoque for the whole robot, this is possible and in weight due to the small size of the robot
    Weaponry:
1)Front hinged flipper, powered by 1 x 1.5kg co2 bottle and a single 120mm ram at 145psi. This allows it to have 20-25 flips per fight (due to the low pressure) and easily flip any heavyweight competitors, even with bonuses. It wont be throwing them around, more tipping them over and rolling them around although quickly. It runs for the full length of the robot and reaches over the back to make a Toro-style tongue at the rear. This tongue doesn€™t actually touch the floor, as the robot would be grounded if it did, but it rests on the skirt and points downwards so that if a robot goes up the skirt they go onto the flipper, and as it is sloped they will be thrown over easily. This allows it to flip robots from the front and back
    2) Mute-style barbs on top of the robot. There is one strip on each side of the robot and one on the flipper, making three in total
    3) At the front of the robot there are tungsten spikes on either side, these allow the robot to spin and act as a thwackbot. Each spike is 7cm long
    Top Speed: 15mph
Ground Clearance: Effectively 0 at the front due to the wedge, 0 at sides and rear due to skirts, behind the skirts there is 8mm of clearance
    Turning Circle: 0
Srimech: The flipper will easily spring the robot back onto its wheels
Colour: Black all over, but the flipper is red and the skirts yellow
Strengths: Powerful drive/flipper combination, very manouevrable, hard armour,
Weaknesses: LP flipper, not HP like it was previously
    Notes: Plenty of shock-proofing

    2:
    Robot Name: The Subjugator
Shape: Box with skirts all the way around
    Weight: 150kg/200kg (see armour)
    Length: 90cm
    Width: 90cm
    Height: 35cm
Motivation/Drive: 4 x hardox legs with vulkalon rubber feet, they are each actuated by two 10 bar 32mm pneumatic rams from a 5kg tank, they are not visible as they are internal
    Armour: 4mm hardox (8mm with 200kg rule)
Weaponry: An 80cm long hardox arm on a 360 degree turret spun by a Bosch 750 watt motor at 36v. On the end of the arm is a large vertical claw, it has two prongs on the top and one on the bottom that goes between the top two when the claw closes (like Mr. Psycho). The prongs are all tungsten tipped and the claw is drilled with several speed holes, the claw is actuated by hydraulics at 3000psi from a vivoil pump powered by a LEM-130 lynch motor at 36v, they can be cranked up to 5000psi if the tournament allows it and can crunch through 4mm hardox when at 3000psi, look out if it€™s at 5000! The arm can move over 180 degrees via a LEM-130 at 36v to flip opponents and slam them onto the ground
Speed: 8mph, pretty fast for a walker
Turning Circle: In the centre of the robot€™s base armour there is a 20cm x 20cm circular section that extends to below the robot via another 10 bar ram, but this one is 400mm and takes the gas from its own 1.1kg bottle, once on the ground the circular piece of armour rotates in the direction which I want the robot to go via a Briggs & Stratton E-Tek at 48v.
Ground Clearance: 20mm all round, protected by 7mm titanium torsion sprung skirts, held together at the corner s by 5mm hardox hinges
Srimech: The arm can right it in any direction
Colour: Black, with red and gold claw and the name written in white
    Strengths: Heavy, unpushable, good weapon
    Weaknesses: Comparatively slow turning

    3:
    Robot Name: LockJaw Epidemic
Shape: An Axlebot with the wheels on the outside, a scoop in the middle and two vertical claws, on one each side in between the wheel and the scoop, there are large parasol-shaped armour plates to protect the wheels from the side
    Weight: 100kg
    Length: 65cm
    Width: 110cm
    Height: 30cm
Motivation: 2 x go-kart style wheels coated in vulkalon for grip
    Drive: 2 x LEM-130s at 36v, 18HP, powered by 4 x NiCad battlepacks
Armour: 4mm hardox all over, but the skirts are 5mm titanium and the scoop is 1cm titanium
    Weaponry:
1)The scoop in the middle, it is made of 1cm titanium
2)The claws operate in unison and are powered by Litton Motors at 36v. They have serrated edges and are drilled full of speed holes. They reach out slightly further than the scoop to get a good grip
    Top Speed: 17mph
Ground Clearance: Effectively 0 at front due to scoop, and effectively 0 at sides and rear due to hinged skirts that flop over when inverted, they are attached with hardox hinges
    Turning Circle: 0
Srimech: Invertible, flipping it does nothing at all
Colour: Gold claws, silver wheel hubs and scoop
    Strengths: Original weaponry
    Weaknesses: Weapon requires precision
    Notes: Heavily shock-proofed

    4:
Robot Name: System Shock V: Hex
Shape: Box wedge with sloped sides, the front wedge is angled at 60* to flip opponents and the sides are angled at 42* to deflect spinners, the front wedge has a 3cm long extension with a Firestorm-style blade, this extension is angled at 30* to get right in underneath opponents, then ram them so they get flipped by the main 60* wedge, it also has a Tornado style angled rear
Weight: Depends on setup, can gain a 10kg bonus because of the tracks in some setups
    Length: 65cm
    Width: 85cm
    Height: 15cm
Motivation: 4 x CNC Aluminium internal, but invertible wheels, they have a v-belt groove in the treads and a v-belt between the wheels so they count as tracks, but if they break the robot is not affected at all and the robot simply becomes a wheeled robot, leaving the tracks behind. For certain opponents the tracks can be removed leaving it with just wheels, but if the tracks are removed the decision can be taken to add vulcanised go-kart tyres
    Drive: 2 x LEM-200 lynch motors running @ 48v ()
    Batteries: 250 C-Cell NiCad batteries
Armour: 4mm hardox monocoque, with 6mm in key areas
    Weaponry: As before the robot is primarily a rammer, but again it has some interchangeable weaponry;
    - 50cm diameter titanium horizontal spinning disc, with 10cm long hooked blades that are part of the disc itself so they can€™t be ripped off from their own impacts. When attached this is situated on top of the robot itself, and the blades reach just over the top of the front wedge and the rear, but it will do the most damage if an opponent goes up the wedge. The tracks/wheels are higher than the disc, so it can still run inverted with this setup. The disc is spun by a LEM-130 lynch motor at 48v, and weighs 15kg, so can reach top speeds of 3000rpm in just 2.5 seconds. Kj count to come. This disc also feeds kinetic energy to the drive via a clutch, so the kinetic energy stored in the disc can be used for 45mph slams against other robots, which with the robot€™s front wedge is enough to throw robots out of the arena Storm II-style.
    - A Tornado style cage can be fitted around the robot to keep crushers and axes at bay. Each of the 4 bars (one from each corner of the robot) is 70cm long and the bars are joined up by a square on the outside. Very few axes and no crushers will be able to reach the robot with this protection. The cage is made from tungsten carbide bars, so is essentially unbreakable by other robots. On the front of the cage will always be fitted the horizontal disc from setup 1, like Tornado had the spinning blade.
    - The drum is back! Now spanning a massive 75cm in width and being made of titanium with its own teeth it spins upwards to 3000rpm in 2.5 seconds courtesy of a LEM-130 lynch motor running at 48v. It is connected to the wedge, so the robot still has 0 ground clearance at the front with this setup. It weighs 15kg and is chain driven, so can reversed if the robot is inverted
    - A concave scoop made from 10mm hardox, perfect for stopping horizontal spinners or full body spinners. It is also lifted by 2 powerful linear actuators to lift opponent€™s wheels from the floor
    - The €œclassic€ setup. The front wedge is thickened by 6mm hardox and actuated by an S28-150 magmotor at 24v, so it can work both ways up. Not including the cage with disc this is the only setup that works identically both ways up, as even the drum has to be reversed.
Speed: Can be pushed to 28mph, but mostly kept lower for more control (about 17mph). With kinetic energy boost it reaches 45mph very quickly. The motors are geared towards acceleration so it can reach top speeds very quickly.
    Turning Circle: 0
Ground Clearance: 0 at the front, 10mm the rest of the way around, but that is protected by 5mm titanium hinged skirts at the sides and rear that flop over when the robot is inverted
    Srimech: Invertible
Colour: Grey, with yellow eyes and the name written in yellow on top. See the image for colours of the different setups.
    Strengths: Speed and Power
Weaknesses: Some people will be cheesed off by this clear exploitation of the weight advantage given to tracks

    History: Titanium Titan

    MW:
    Robot Name: Zero
    Shape: Cylinder, ala Daisy Chopper
    Weight: 54kg
    Length: (including disc) 65cm
    Width: 70cm
Height: (including disc) 35cm (without disc) 10cm
Motivation: 6 x 4mm hardox wheels at either end, 12cm in diameter, external and invertible, exposed but protected by two tungsten carbide bars at either end. There are 6 wheels because they are mounted in a triangle like Trident from RW3
    Drive: 2 x S28-150s @ 24v

Armour: 4mm titanium body and disc supports, tungsten carbide wheels protectors, titanium disc
Weaponry: A 25cm diameter vertical spinning disc 5cm away from the main body, supported by 4 x 4mm titanium arms, which have swivel castors on the top and bottom for easy manouevrability. The disc itself is made of titanium and has two 5mm hardox tunsgten tipped serrated blades which are part of the disc to avoid them being ripped off. These baldes are just 1mm from the ground, and when spinning at maximum speed of 2000rpm from the LEM-130 @ 36v that powers it can deliver 35.4Kj per hit as well as flipping opponents as it spins upwards. The direction can be reversed when the robot is flipped by the chain driven system

    Turning Circle: 0
Ground Clearance: The disc is 1mm from the ground, the rest of the robot is 10mm
    Srimech: Invertible
Colour: The disc is blue with gold stripes and red blades, the body is mostly pewter and grey with some dark blue
Strengths: Powerful weaponry, flipping it does just about nothing
    Weaknesses: Not the toughest armour
