Same time, TX-108 was made by me and my dad Tanto was made by me in college, had a heavy before that and a super heavy before that and a feather before that, ive been competing since series 2 of robot wars when I was 13,
TX-108 never fully qualifed because it was never interesting enough for TV, series 5 qualifiers we fought S3 best fight Ive been involved in.

Tanto never got to RW til series 7 2003 when it got eteks before that it was wheelchair motors on 36v

TX-108 was sold for scrap all bar the arm which sits above my desk along with tantos titanium forks

We could do with a summary of Craigs roboteering possibly...particularly me, Ive always been curious about the otherweights in series 2 for reasons best known to myself, there were a good deal of good looking superheavies seen for about five seconds on TV and never again that Im curious about. :P

series 2 we ran a feather called Deadline, we were one of eight robots there were again about another 8 lightweights and middleweights all fought in melees
super heavies had a little comp 6 x 4 and 3 way melees and the final got shown on tv the otherweights had a and so and so won we never even got a split second of air time it was just Adam Clarks feather armadillo and devistator? got shown

Series 3 we ran a super heavy called Toxin but due to an inciedent during filming the super heavies were cancelled

Series 4 we ran a heavy called Vindicare which went to the Robot Wars live show we qualifed late in the day and got told the show was full

Series 5 we fought S3 with TX-108 but lost on a judges descion

Series 6 TX-108 fought Reptrion and broke down hense lost

Series 7 TX-108 qualifed against Beast and mighty mouse but lost i think the areial came off as we drove out and had no range, Tanto ran in series 7 qualifiers an literally ran on the last fight of qualifying which it won bbut again got told they were full but were put in as an unused reserve

outside of Robot Wars we ran in technogames and made the semi finals of the sprint with Photophattiephobia and failed in the football and sumo in the following year, I had Anto in Extreme 1 and a newcomer fight with hypnodisc that was never aired because nothing really happened, Extreme 2 we ran a feather called Gianto which jonno killed and killalot squashed, series 7 we had Gianto 2 in the feathers

Ive had some sucess in the antweight division too

tx108 must have been pretty good to just lose on a judges decision to s3

our fight against S3 was great they had some control problems so we took advantage kept scooping them up and running it into the walls we had them for most of the match but every time we backed up they would turn and wacked us with the disc, we were pretty even on damage by the end but the judges gave it to S3, didnt mind losing to be honest just loved being involved in the fight

Vindicare was an invertable lifter powered by Mig welder bottles and wheelchair motors it was the last big robot we built, it was 1.4m long 1m wide made entirely of steel

What SHW incident? (Im intreaged now!)
I remember Gianto, i went to see RW be filmed, and we saw Gianto in a fight.
My mum said Bly-me, these bots just keep on getting smaller! when Gianto came out.
