The Snow Thread - 2009

Im very unfit, so running is SO not my cup of tea.
I froze...

I live in a quiet area. This morning the snow from yesterday has turned into a nice dangerous ice. Had to walk (more like ice skate) for about 10 minutes before I could get on my bike to get to work.

The electronics from the robots have come inside. But I think it was too late for my digital calipers. They have stopped working. :sad:

lol aint that true my digital calipers stopped too so i changed the battery and they are ok again. there you go marco

Yeah I did try a battery change but they still didnt work. Usually they would come on very faint blinking telling me to change the battery but nothing.
Might be two dead batterys so will try that before the funeral of the calipers.
They were only a tenner from Nettos so not that bothered

My mums up over her ears in snow, but here -124 kms away from her- not a single flake.
And you gonna see, when we visit her next weekend the snowll be gone...

Snowing earlier today...for like 15 minutes.

We had a bit of a snowstorm here yesterday. Had to walk to work as the taxi ranks were snowed under as well! Looks like every one walked in yesterday as there were hardly any cars on the road.

We had a snow shower today, but due to just-not-freezing temperatures it melted before it touched the ground.
Nevertheless, I like it when its snowing and I do not have to go outside. A colleague of mine, who comes from a country where temperatures are a tad higher than here, had to go out to get lunch and sort of ... packaged herself. Lots of shawls, gloves, woollen hats... you get the picture ? Soaked wet when she was back too. Yeah, wool does that...

Its been bloody freezing all week round my way, and i still cant understand why our PE teacher is making us do PE outside...
