ACTIVATE!

The two promising looking machines move off at the beginning of the match, with the massive Traffic Warden heading across the arena to meet the wedge shaped Dendroaspis. Richard swerves immediately to try and dodge the clamping area of Traffic Warden to get to the side and lift, but Steven has an equally manouevrable two wheel drive and turns quickly to catch Dendroaspis in the worst place it could - side on! The clamps move in, squashing the rear of Dendroaspis into the other clamp, but luckily for Richard things have gotten a little better as one of the clamps can€™t get under the zero ground clearance of the wedge and so Steven doesn€™t have as good as hold as we thought he might get. This position works in Richard€™s favour now as the bottom arm of Dendroaspis lifts the whole wedge up and tips Traffic Warden up and over!

Steven quickly turns and rams Dendroaspis again, but before the clamps can come into play Richard gets his robot spinning and one of the spikes manages to put a sizeable dent in the 4mm titanium armour of Traffic Warden. However it isn€™t enough to stop the clamps and now Traffic Warden has Dendroaspis€™ rear end stuck between the clamps, and the E-Tek motors in the drive allow Steven to push Dendroaspis across the arena and back into the pit release button! Dendroaspis returns the lower arm to its normal position now, falling slightly, but Traffic Warden€™s clamps jump at the opportunity and squeeze the hardox wedge even more tightly! You can see the lifting arms of Dendroaspis struggling to move against the clamps of Traffic Warden, but the hydraulics are far more powerful then the electrics of Dendroaspis and Steven comfortably drives over to the pit, finally releasing Richard€™s heavily armoured machine and letting it tumble into the pit just like Visioned before it.

CEASE!

Another very short fight and Dendroaspis is in the pit; Traffic Warden goes through to the quarter-finals!
