Well as you may know, I can't gain access to the FRA at the moment since I'm using a different email address now to when I registered, so I didn't receive the email on my new password when the board was updated. I have registered again, but it's been a few months now and I still have no reply.
its up to me to keep everyone up to date on this wonderful tournament... so without further delays, the next battle!

The two machines move out of their starting squares and square off against each other in the centre of the arena, the spinning disc of Dantu making a dangerous-sounding whir as the lynch motor that powers it gets up to full power. Leo guns Eternia€™s drive motors and rams into Dantu, but Alex spins quickly on the two wheel drive to prevent Eternia stopping Dantu€™s disc in its tracks. Leo attempts to flip Dantu, but misses because Alex spun just at the right time and now he is able to bring the disc into play on the side of Eternia, flipping it up and over as well as scarring the thick HDPE, but there are too many layers of it for Dantu to expose the workings of the machine.

Leo self-rights quickly with a snort of co2 from Eternia€™s flipper and resets the weapon before taking on Dantu, whose disc is back up to speed again. The flipper takes a buffeting blow from the disc, but Leo doesn€™t relent and pushes Alex back across the arena, and this time when Leo fires the flipper Dantu goes up into the air and comes landing on its side with a crash! Dantu€™s wheels spin and it spins stylishly before landing back on its front, before spinning up the disc again and ramming into Eternia€™s front flipper a second time, this time slightly bending up the flipper plate and therefore stopping Eternia from easily getting underneath Dantu!

Leo can still ram though, and the adequate ramming shape of Eternia allows Leo to push Alex all over the arena, and Eternia now manages to push Dantu over the killsaws in a shower of sparks! Dantu is OK though and reverses out of the corner, spinning up the dangerous vertical flywheel weapon as it does so. Eternia comes running at Alex with a box-rush attack, but like at the beginning of the round Alex turns swiftly on the spot and knocks into the side of Eternia, tearing into the all ready damaged side of the armour and flicking it up, but not over this time. Leo turns quickly and rams Dantu, whose weapon is temporarily stationary and with a loud bang the two career into the spike strip!

Dantu is able to drive just over Eternia, but as he does so Leo sees an opportunity and fires his flipper, sending Dantu tumbling over, away from Eternia and onto its back! Alex spins up the disc, but it€™s now spinning in the wrong direction so when Dantu rams in on another attack it throws itself up and pushes Eternia away slightly, leaving a dent in the front flipper. But Dantu has turned the disc side of itself away from Eternia and this allows Leo to ram Dantu from the rear now, and the pair go flying across the arena and slam into the pit release button!

The siren wails and the pit descends, and Leo senses that this could be his chance to get Dantu down the pit, but Alex€™s nippy two-wheel drive sees him jet away from the pit and across to the other side of the arena with the disc quickly back up to speed. The blades have become nothing but a blur, and as Eternia rams across the arena again Dantu rams forward to meet him.

It€™s a massive collision, and a catastrophic one too as Eternia€™s flipper is bent right up, further than it was before and the whole robot is tossed over onto its back. Leo tries to self-right, but he€™s getting no radio control and it appears that Eternia€™s removable link has been knocked out by the force of Dantu€™s attack! On the other hand though Dantu isn€™t looking too good either, as it would seem one of Eternia€™s early rams knocked loose a connection inside the machine and this recent collision must have finished the job, as whenever Alex presses forward or backwards, Dantu can only manage to move in a circle, as one of the wheels has lost connection to its motor!

But both robots became immobilised at the same time, so this match will go to the judges!
