The May Tracks Has You vs Wedga Triton vs Neo-Mecha vs Pure Evil: Back to Basics
Representing Team Bored, The May Tracks Has You!
This original Comengetorix-shaped robot has an effective weapon synergy that utilises upward facing spikes on the wedge that penetrate the opponent€™s tyres when the powerful flipper is activated, meaning the opponent€™s manoeuvrability could be in danger here. And once The May Tracks Has You, there really is no escape, however the tracks could be in danger from flipper/axe combinations.
Representing Team ???, Wedga Triton!
This is the latest robot in a long running line of flippers, and in power it doesn€™t disappoint with the ability to throw 1600kg around! The sleek Storm II shape will help it to get under other robots and the adequate magmotors give very good control, but the robot isn€™t an ideal shape for flipping
Representing Team Fatal Robotics, Neo-Mecha!
This Ankle-Biter shaped robot has a vertical spinning disc and rear wedge to push robots around the arena, plus the linear actuated srimech can un-turtle it less than a second. For this battle Samuel Park has teamed up with Wedga Triton, could it be a match made in heaven or will these two be a terrible twosome.
Representing Team Britespark, Pure Evil: Back to Basics!
Like what it says in the name, this simple wedge is pure evil. The powerful nitrogen flipper can toss robots out of the arena and the tracks provide superb traction as well as utilising the 10kg weight bonus unlike The May Tracks Has You. However is it too simple to compete with modern day designs?
Roboteers, standby!

ACTIVATE!
The three flippers and a spinning disc that are competing in this battle all get off the mark quickly, but immediately two separate battles are being fought as Wedga Triton makes a beeline for Pure Evil while The May Tracks Has You launches an assault at Neo-Mecha.
Wedga gets in the first attack of the match, attacking the corner of Pure Evil€™s front wedge and managing to breach it this time, forcing Daniel Stickler€™s second entry back across the arena and flipping it over with so much force the wedge shaped machine flips backwards over and over in the air before landing on its tracks and attacking the flipper-open Wedga Triton, breaching the clearance opened by the gaping flipper and it sends the blue Storm II-shaped robot over onto its back just as the large flipper closes, immediately allowing Andrew Jackson at the controls to activate the flipper a second time and get Wedga Triton back onto its wheels for it to attack Pure Evil, who now has the flipper open and it feels like dj vu, but this time the flip is fatal as Wedga Triton pushes Pure Evil against the spike strip and when it activates the flipper 1600kg of force send Pure Evil up and over the barrier, to the end of its competition.
Meanwhile The May Tracks Has You slides in underneath Neo-Mecha completely avoiding the disc and getting the Ankle Biter-shaped machine stuck on the upward facing spikes before Frank activates the flipper and sends Neo-Mecha over onto its back. Samuel self-rights, but his manoeuvrability is greatly impaired and the spinner barely limps towards The May Tracks, but does manage to score a hit on the front wedge with the spinning disc and flips the front end of May Tracks into the air before limping in so Frank lands on top of the disc, but Neo-Mecha€™s weaponry is of course motionless so no further damage is caused and the disc rolls downwards as The May Tracks Has You is returned to the floor and immediately Frank drives in underneath Neo-Mecha again, pushing it across the arena floor and into the back of Wedga Triton (who at this point has just flipped out Pure Evil), ramming them both against the arena wall, and putting Neo-Mecha on top of Wedga, who turns and rams the pit release, freeing Neo-Mecha and opening the pit in one easy move! And now as The May Tracks goes on the attack again to finish off Neo-Mecha Wedga Triton drives in underneath the side of the clever weapon synergy machine and flips it high into the air!
Frank comes crashing back to the ground on his back and self-rights, but Neo-Mecha has limped over to him and hits the side of May Tracks with a hefty hit from the spinning disc, knocking the side panel skyward and flipping the May Tracks over again! Frank self-rights, but the team-up has proved deadly as Wedga Triton now comes on the attack, now driving in underneath The May Tracks and pushing it right across the arena and over the side of the pit!
CEASE!
Pure Evil should go back to complexity and The May Tracks Doesn€™t Have You;
Wedga Triton and Neo-Mecha advance to the second round!
