Thread: RoboBASH Mini-Tourney

  1. #31
Tactics: Team up with Hex Appeal (kind of obvious that ) and keep Sideswipe busy, doing something amounting to box rushing and stopping the spinning object from accomplishing the first part of its descriptive moniker. Get the lifter to tip it a few times and generally dominate it before Hex Appeal moves in for the kill.

In theory Good luck to Leo and everyone else

    Tactix and predicxons...

Ge5orce vs. Back to Rock III vs. Robo-Hedgehog

    I smell a team-up on Robo-Hedgehog, lol. Ben out.

Heyght II vs. Dantu vs. cROoKED

Alex through for sure...dunno who with...

Tira V vs. Genocide vs Traffic Warden

Sure, Liam, Ill team up with you. Aim for the rear of Traffic Warden and rip its heart out, to quote a certain character. :P If its proves troublesome, use the rear front-hinged flipper to toss it then attack with the disc, but Id rather not resort to that as its my srimech, and has limited supply.

Sideswipe vs. No Consequences vs. Hex Appeal

I think Leo just might eat his words here. Sideswipe is out, especially with the team-up.

Lets see some awesome battles, and some equally awesome tactics taken into account, Samuel.

Typical, Kody. You bug me for new designs and upgrades and when I finally get a new robot out, you want to trash it straight away.

Traffic Warden is wide enough to accomodate either robot, so its first come, first served. Ram into whoevers nearest to stop their spinner, scoop them up and clamp them - hard. From there, use my great pushing power to dump them in the Pit ASAP. Basically what Tough as Nails did to Disc-O Inferno.

I never did state my intent on what I was going to do to your vapours afterwards, Steve.

    Double-teaming your moderator huh?

Tictacs: Keep the spinner on Hex appeal till it stops moving, then go in for the kill on No Consequences.

Try to double team what you will, I will be victorious! For I...AM...WEASEL! :-)

As a matter of interest, on Heyght, why do tool steel bolts make it impossible to just rip a panel off? From what I remember tool steel is pretty brittle once above its strength tolerance?

  8. #38
It is. The strength tolerance is very high, but once you get past that point they snap quite sudden.

I assumed it because I created half of Hex Appeal, you git

If thats the case, keep Hex Appeal between myself and Sideswipe, and try and attack both others as and when opportunities present themselves.
