I am in need of a piece of round 20mm dia bar either ti stainless or silver steel ..... 450mm long ....
preff ti ...

Hi Pete,

Sorry, didnt spot the original post.

I have a piece of tool steel around 460mm long, 20.6mm dia. The material I used for the spike on KHz axe. Ill see if I can find out the exact material.

Though I think youd be better off with a 30mm dia 2014 bar. Stronger than any and lighter than the steel bars.

OK, its BS1 tool steel. Very strong if you get it heat treated. It comes annelaed.

its only for the flipper pivot and goes through 4 x 20mm bearings so needs to be 20 mm john i can get the 0.6 turned off i think are you going to portsmouth ?????
