double post. Nice calculator Mark, I remember seeing this before, the only thing I can fault it with is it makes a lot of assumptions. Also labeling motors like little drills, are you talking about Dewalts? RS-775s? RS-550s? RS-540s? RS-380s? All motors Ive seen come on small drills. The usage of volume is for weight calculation a good idea, but IMHO it would only work accurately if your building a brick. An advance calculator, but maybe not suited to this area.

Let me describe the situation on our hands nowadays...

Yes, Kodys pressence is very widely known, BUT, how he expresses himself nowadays isnt REMOTELY like the heated discussions we saw in Mark Elams time, or Tim Sillerys or...

Yeah, Kody was very blunt towards Paul, but he should NOT accept the fact that Paul tries to push forward a 150+ kg robot in C&B, especially when you consider the fact Paul himself agreed on the fact that said robot needed to lose some weight, not too long ago. Likewise, Kody should not accept defeat against such robot considering Kody himself builds his bot very carefully.

Yes, Kody is very active in judging Bens robots. Ben is a newcomer, like Mark, Ruark, Andre, Timmy etc were. Compare todays situation with the situation back then and its clear to me Kodys softening up.

Myeah, the battery discussion got revived thanks to C&B3 but its not like Kodys the one who started this discussion back when it first appeared. I know for a fact some of us ask around when in need of battery info rather than researching themselves, and I think we shouldnt be forced to become battery experts. Kody giving Paul sme pointers wouldnt hurt... In the end its Kodys tournament and Kody was the one who wrote in the rules batteries were required...

In conclusion Id like to quote Kody in the How to Improve Topic not too long ago
