Running a sabertooth 10a

we bought a sabertooth 10a for block of wood, 2x 12v drill motors running from 12v 5ah sla battery but i was thinking as the drive in psycho fling is well... not brilliant perphaps i could put the sabertooth in psycho fling

agian psycho fling runs 2 x 12v drill motors but from 2x 8.4v 3400mah NiMh batteris

so will this setup (psycho flings) blow this sabertooth as thats the last thing i want to do ...????

I would advise that it will.

I ran sting on two 9.6V drill motors at 12V and the 10A sabretooth blew even with additional heatsinking and a fan. I would never advise using these controllers on overvolted motors.

The smoke has a rather pleasant smell.

Drill motors have a high current use, more then 10A often, use a speedo whit 25A limit instead.
