Metal cable and fixings

what are the things which people use on robots to secure metal cable? and where can i get them from?

what do you mean by metal cable? you mean that wire stuff people use for teathers? if so.. you can buy the little U shaped clamps for a few pence from B&Q.. the U has a thread on either end.. put the wire in, put the supplyed plate over the threaded bit and tighten the nuts onto it.. squishing the cable. Crude but it works.
