So the horizontal claws of Hector managed to pierce though the Hardox side armour of Crooked to manage to get a hold of the battery to pull it out of the same side hole in the Hardox armour?

I need a little more info. how big is the disk, and where does it mount on the hexagonal robot (partly in partly out, or on an A frame outside the robot)?

Ive not checked the KJ count, but apart from that Id say you need to get the weight down.

For Mounts, electronics etc. 8 kg is not much, and you need twice the amount of cells you have now really.
Given the dimensions you gave on the disc, it would be 5 cm thick. you could halve that, making the disc somewhere around the 15kg mark (it would still be 1 or 2.5cm thick), and use the remaining kgs for batteries and mounts etc.

Well I calculated it as a hexagon prism with 1 side missing for the disc to poke trough.
