El Tactics Grande!![]()
Iris VS Bad Shadow Junior: Main tactic in this fight is to push BSJnr around whilst avoiding the knife blade. If possible, stay close to it so it cannot attack, and keep acting tenaciously and aggresively. If all else fails, slam into it a few times using the spike and try and get it into the pit.
Diva vs Mortis: Flip, push to arena wall, flip again.![]()
Try Temper.
Try getting another sets of stats up.
I mean, try calling it Bad Temper Jr. Shadows stats will be up as and when.
SHADOW
Weight: 79 kilos
Body Shape: Sort of a scaled down version of Growler. Half the size, perhaps.
Speed: 15mph
TC: 0
GC: 6mm
Wheels: 4 outer protected.
Armour: 7mm titanium
Power: 3x 12v batteries, powered by S28-400 Magmotors, at 24v...like you didnt know.
Colour: Black with red highlights.
Weapon: Hydraulic clamping jaws...sort of like Growlers, only scaled down. Fixed spikes are also on the back.
Srimech: A rollcage provides this.
Notes: Based heavily on the R/C Growler toy, modelled on Shadow the Hedgehog, one of my favourite Sonic characters. Has a bright flashlight inside to imitate Chaos Control.
Strengths: Bad Tempered and Moody, does not give up easily.
Weaknessess: His troubled past.
...*puts Flirty Skirty back in the garage* Damn you...uh, I mean, thanks for providing your stats for us.![]()
The lineups are now actual, and the battles in this will be written starting from next week, or whenever I get bored enough. Whichever comes first.
As for house robots, if I dont get round to doing two more, which, lets face it, is more than likely, the Robot Wars housies will be used to varying degrees, with the precise ones changing in each round. For this first round, the S3 versions of Shunt, Dead Metal, Matilda, and Sgt. Bash.
Get tacticing, if you havnt already.![]()

«DownFall vs. Weapon ZED»
My tactics are pretty self-explanatory here - just hammer it. DownFall€™s axe runs on a similar system to Terrorhurtz, so hopefully I can make some nice slashes in the 7mm Titanium armour. That 900mm2 panel on top should provide a nice big surface area for me to make some nice holes in. If I can get the axe stuck in, then I can try and push it around towards the CPZ€™s or the pit. Of course, I won€™t go too crazy with the axe in case I need a few shots for self-righting.
«Le Nez vs. Fox In The Box»
Spinner vs. spinner killer anyone? This is going to be a pretty good battle I reckon. However if I can keep the nose working as it should do, Fox In The Box should have problems getting any hits on Le Nez with the spinner. Keep the main body as far away as possible, slide the nose under that 5mm clearance and flip it about. If I can get it close to the walls, get it OOTA as soon as possible. Feed it to the house robots, throw it in the pit, anything will do. Just try to avoid the spinner and flip it away.
An Official Announcement Of Sorts Regarding Tournaments Being Run By Joey McConnell
Im not that motivated to write battles at the moment (again :P), largely due to the fact that its summer and lots of peole are going away, as I will be in the next couple of weeks.
I may be able to get some fights in this or the Chevron Championship done before I leave, but I wouldnt count on it - right now Im focusing on getting heat B in FVAL done, and I intend on resuming these once I return from England and can get proper internet access again, hopefully refreshed and ready to crank out some fights of a wooty nature.
So dont bump these threads all summer asking if theyve been abandoned, because they havent. (This means you Paul)

How do you get 24v from 3 x 12v batteries? The only way I know is to odd parallel-series them in which case, one of the batteries will die rather quickly... 2 x 12v in series = 24v... and 3 x 12v in series = 36v
