Feather weight- automatic

hello,
Basically i wired up my new feather weight 2day and gave it a drive around and its proven successful apart from it needing a gyro which ill sort out soon as, but the problem is.....

Every now and again each wheel either both together or one at a time spins slowly without me telling it to, but slow enough to stop it by hand. would this be also cured by a gyro? --- I am not too sure as im still fairly new to making robots and have a lot to learn.

any ideas?

also whilst this happens, on the speedo no error light comes on or anything.
