What is it these days with 5mm titanium being weak? Its not hardox but its by no means as easily damaged as people make out... Consider - how often did you ever see significant damage to titanium on robot wars?

Ill go with hydraulics... lets see much those tracks help when its suspended in the air.

WBC being sliced apart by Hypnodisc, Biohazard being torn apart a few times, Dominator 2 taking damage from Hypnodisc and Pussycat, Tsunami being torn a new one by X-Terminator... Ti isnt weak, but it doesnt offer much protection against big-ass spinners.

Against Dolce, Ill aim for the sides, keep flipping him over with the disc and wait for something to break. Sorry Chezza but Im going to have to damage your paint job a lil bit:wink:

Nitro-Gene 4.0 vs. PsycloniZer

Looking over the stats, Nitro-Gene 4.0 has clearly been designed to stand up to high-energy spinners. Despite that, I think there is plenty for me to exploit. First of all, lets run through the basics. Nitro-Gene 4.0 is a flipper, and PsycloniZer is invertible. So in that case, its weapon does not particularly bother me. We all saw how difficult it was to flip Typhoon 2 in Robot Wars 7, despite it facing a flipper of some description in almost every match. The gyroscopic forces of me spinning should prevent any sort of decent attack from Nitro-Gene. Even then, the width of PsycloniZer will be a problem for it. So I think I€™m pretty safe from any attacks. As before, if it does flip me, I have the invertibility.

The pointed side things do not really bother me that much. All it does is provide me with even more corners to try and latch on to and rip a panel away. With 5mm Hardox armouring, I€™m not going to be causing any serious damage to the panels themselves. Therefore, I€™m going to have to rip them off instead. First of all though, those 5mm Ti skirts look tasty. €œHardox hinges€ or not, my aim is to give them a couple of hits and wipe them clean off. Then, take to all those nice corners. Spin up the shell and smash it to as many pieces as possible. Target the edges and rip it up.

Elsewhere, I can see Achilles going through based on experience. Spin Dash Unleashed should have a winning debut and The 6isc will probably be too powerful for Dolce. Looks like a cracking little tournament!

Now admittedly I havent seen series 7, so you might be referring to fights I havent seen...

But looking at these fights on youtube there is little if any notable damage in any except hypnodisc vs wheely big cheese, and there it is purely on the wheels across the welds.
