Ohhhhhhhhhh...Gabriel is seeded, and is through possibly, but it all depends on who Baldur goes for. If it goes for PsycloniZer, AJ will be out. If it goes for Gabriel, Alex will go out.

Death Wish 2 v Biohazard v Axes of Evil

Biohazard deffo through...dunno who will join him...maybe Axes Of Evil.

Winner: Ill go for PsycloniZer to win through, but PsycloniZer may lose out to Gabriel in the Heat Final, but its deffo between those two.

I shall also send in my tactics for the heat after the next heat.

Heat K
Flick of the Wrist (12) v Dante v The Rock

Flick Of The Wrist is my biggest threat in the heat, with the exception of Crimson Thunder, so Im planning a team-up on Flick with Alex. My axe has driven holes into angled 7mm Titanium (in C&B: Dual Duels, when it pierced the armour of Blue), so I should pierce the flat 7mm Titanium top of Flick quite easily

My plan is to try and dodge a charge by Flick if he comes at me, and then swoop in behind him, pin him against the wall, and turn him into a pepperbot

If I get any blows on his wheels and deflect them, thats a bonus. If things go badly for Alex, save him from Flick by battering him to death or piercing his tyres.
If things go badly for me, scrap the team-up and go ALL-OUT on Dante - by pitting him...Im so loyal arent I?

Paul, youre forgetting one thing. Death Wish has immense power in its spinning disc and 20mm poly wont save Axes of Evil. So, like I said, I shall demolish Axes of Evil.

Welcome to Robot SMASH!! , where this episode is about to get underway. Tonight sees the return of the number #14 seed Gabriel II, as he takes on the whirling hammers of PsycloniZer and the hardened scoop of Baldur Gamma.
Gabriel II (14) v PsycloniZer v Baldur Gamma
Axes of Evil v Bio-Hazard v Death Wish 2

Eliminator 1

Created and entered by Joey McConnell, seeded #14, Gabriel II!
This is a very original elongated pyramid shape with a high pressure front hinged flipper. It also has thwackbot capabilities, and has spikes on the back to prevent strandings. However, the 2WD could be out pushed as the awkward shape wonâ‚¬â„¢t help it while pushing.

In RS!!1: In the very first battle of RS!! Joey drove Gabriel II to victory and pitted Acronyms FTW after the shape didnâ‚¬â„¢t allow the crusher to get a grip. In the heat semi-final controversy reigned when it threw a favourite Nitro-Gene 4.0 onto the camera tracks. However the heat final went badly wrong and Gabriel hit the bottom of the pit after a close match with Liar 2.

Another interesting design, this invertible ring spinner has three heavy hammers that are spun around by a LEM-200. That is one powerful weapon, and the drive isnâ‚¬â„¢t bad either with two S28-400s running at 24v providing 9HP.

This is designed to be a spinner-killing ramming robot, with a nasty front scoop able to work 70 degrees either way up. However, the armour on the sides and rear is only 5mm titanium and Kevlar, fine against most weaponry, but not enough against the more powerful spinners this robot is designed to fight.

PsycloniZer and Gabriel II (the seed) are said to be the ones to watch in this heat, but Baldur Gamma has also been tipped to take the place in the semi-finals offered here. However one of these three must be eliminated before the heat semi-finals can get underway, and PsycloniZer clearly wants Baldur Gamma out of the running as Andy spins up quickly and heads towards Alexâ‚¬â„¢s machine. He tries to pull the cylindrical machine around to attack the weaker side armour of Baldur Gamma, but Alex turns to meet the whirling hammers attached to the spinning ring of PsycloniZer!
CRASH!
Baldur Gamma is knocked away undamaged, but PsycloniZer is also flung away across the arena! And Baldur is quicker to recover, rushing in on the attack and lifting Andy into the air with the low pressure scoop, holding the ring spinnerâ‚¬â„¢s wheels off the ground to stop it escaping! But now Gabriel II finally enters the fray and the seeded machine runs in underneath Baldur Gammaâ‚¬â„¢s raised scoop to get in underneath and carry Alex across the coliseum before flipping him onto the killsaws! BZZT! Baldur is bounced away and attacks Gabriel II this time, getting in underneath the side and lifting it over, only for the seed to self-right away allowing PsycloniZer to come in with another hammer attack, this time hitting home and smashing a chunk out of Baldur Gammaâ‚¬â„¢s side armour! However there doesnâ‚¬â„¢t seem to have been too much damage inflicted and Baldur lifts PsycloniZer again, this time going on a full out ram across the arena and into the pit release button opposite, also flipping PsycloniZer away with the force generated by the slam! And once again Gabriel attacks Baldur, this time getting in underneath the rear end and propping Baldur on its own scoop! Alex moves the weaponry to get Baldur back down, but once again PsycloniZer is at speed and hits the already weakened section of Baldur Gammaâ‚¬â„¢s bodywork!
CRASH!
This time the gash is widened and thereâ‚¬â„¢s now a large hole in the side of Baldur Gamma, and Gabriel comes in again, pushing in underneath and flipping it over, but thereâ‚¬â„¢s no response from Baldur Gamma! Suddenly it jerks back into life, it seems the aerial was just trapped by Gabriel, but now itâ‚¬â„¢s only moving in circles! And as we look down at the arena floor we see the reason why- one of Baldur Gammaâ‚¬â„¢s LEM-130s was torn out through the hole made by PsycloniZerâ‚¬â„¢s earlier onslaught, and now its curtains for Baldur!

CEASE!

Baldur Gamma is PsycloniZed and sent to heaven; Gabriel II (14) and PsycloniZer go marching on!

Iâ‚¬â„¢m here in the pits now with Alex Holt.
Me: That was a real shame; I had high hopes for Baldur Gamma.
Alex: I thought maybe I could get through, but they teamed up on me so that was it.
Me: Perhaps a spinner-killer should have armour that stands up to spinners a bit better?
Alex: Perhaps. The plan is usually just to keep the scoop to them so that they never get a chance to attack the sides and rear.
Me: Hopefully weâ‚¬â„¢ll see Baldur Gamma next season?
Alex: Weâ‚¬â„¢ll have to see about that.
Me: Okaaaaaaaaaaay, now letâ‚¬â„¢s head down to the coliseum for the other eliminator.

Eliminator 2

Created and entered by Danny Bailey, Axes of Evil!
A dark green hexagon shaped machine with powerful axes on top, this robot is designed to pack a punch. However the polycarbonate armour wonâ‚¬â„¢t stand up at all well to spinners, so Danny had better watch out there!

In RS!!1: Didnâ‚¬â„¢t enter

Built by Carlos Bertochinni, entered by Daniel Stickler, Bio-Hazard!
This four time Battlebots champion won the very first, untelevised Battlebots contest in the heavyweight division before coming back for three televised wins later on. At just 14cm high it is possibly one of the shortest heavyweights of all time, and the electric lifter arm just goes on and on. However, due to rear skirts it canâ‚¬â„¢t self-right, so had better avoid getting flipped!

In RS!!1: In a much anticipated eliminator match with Tira III Bio-Hazard lifted and slammed the Calibur female into the arena wall, hoping to flip and fully immobilise her. However she landed on her wheels and shredded the Battlebots golden boy to shreds, flipping him instead with her vertically spinning flywheel.

Created and entered by Samuel Park, Death Wish 2!
This deadly horizontal spinner has invertible tracks powered by LEM-130s and the disc weighs in at 21kg, but itâ‚¬â„¢s not very original at all. The rear wedge could help stop flippers, but axes and crushers will almost certainly aim for the tracks.

Bio-Hazard is the only Robot SMASH!! veteran in this bout, as Axes of Evil and Death Wish 2 make their SMASH!! debuts this season. Last season Bio was entered by Mark Elam, and was defeated in the first round, but with a decent person entering him maybe he can do better this time.
Itâ‚¬â„¢s certainly a better start anyway, as Bio-Hazard gets under Axes of Evil and lifts him into the air, rolling the machine along its six sides before it lands upside down, self-righting with the axes before reversing into Death Wish 2, pushing Samuel across the arena and onto the killsaws! BZZT! Death Wish is bounced away, but now spins up and chases after Axes of Evil, who runs up and over the top of Bio-Hazard! Death Wish tries to follow, but Bio-Hazard gets in underneath the front and flips Death Wish 2 onto its back, rendering the rear wedge useless now! Axes comes in from the side this time and slams its weapon down onto the base armour of Death Wish 2, which now has a small dent but nothing more. Bio-Hazard pushes in underneath Death Wish 2 and pushes Samuel up against the pit release button, but now he manages to drive off Bio-Hazard and bring that spinning disc into play against the polycarbonate armour of Axes if Evil!
CRASH!
Thereâ‚¬â„¢s a huge gash in the side of Axes now, and Danny worriedly drives away from Death Wish 2, who attempts to follow but is once again pushed by Bio-Hazard and flipped back over, this time onto the edge of the pit! Thereâ‚¬â„¢s one track on the ground and the other is over nothing but thin air! Bio-Hazard waits for a moment before moving in for the kill, but it seems Axes of Evil has ground to a halt! Is it moving? No....... Yes it is, it seems it was just caught on the arena floor for a moment and now Danny glides over to the pit and delivers one final nudge to Death Wish 2, who falls into the pit in a puff of smoke!

CEASE!

Death Wish 2 gets its wish; Axes of Evil and Bio-Hazard stroll through full of maniacal laughter!

Me: Iâ‚¬â„¢m surprised.
Sam: Me too, I thought I could mash up Axes.
Me: You did.
Sam: Yeah, but I couldnâ‚¬â„¢t finish him off because Bio-Hazard kept getting in my way.

Me: Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, now letâ‚¬â„¢s see the round 2 draw!

My predictions are that Gabriel II will walk over Axes Of Evil, push it to the side, resist the many axe-blows and toss it over the fence.

Psyclone, an eariler PsycloniZer destroyed BioHazard in VFT6. So AJ will do that again!!!

Welcome back to Robot SMASH!! , where the second round of Heat J is about to get underway. Before the break the number #14 seed Gabriel II teamed up with PsycloniZer to dispose of Baldur Gamma, while in the other round veteran Bio-Hazard pitted Death Wish 2 to move along with Axes of Evil.

Both robots were quite lucky to get through to this round as the other successful robot in their bout did more work (Bio-Hazard saved Axes of Evil from Death Wish 2 and PsycloniZer did most of the work to eliminate Baldur Gamma). However thereâ‚¬â„¢s clearly no slacking off in this round as Axes of Evil pulls of a smart pivot to get around to the side of Gabriel II, landing a blow on the seeded robotâ‚¬â„¢s armour, but no real damage seems to have been done and Joey turns Gabriel around to get underneath Axes and push Danny across the arena a bit, but he slides off the side of the elongated pyramid shaped machine before Joey can turn him over. Axes brings down the axe again, but misses this time and Joey slides in underneath his hexagonal opponent again, wasting no time in overturning Dannyâ‚¬â„¢s robot with a flick of the powerful flipper. Axes uses that weapon to right itself for the first time so far and pushes underneath the side of Gabriel, manoeuvring Joey across the arena and into the pit release button, hitting with the axe as well! Gabriel escapes and spins around, thumping the side spike into Axes of Evil and actually making a very small hole in the polycarbonate armour, holding on in there now to drag Danny onto the killsaws! BZZT! Axes is tossed away, but comes back on another onslaught almost immediately and hits the seed with the axe again, but still not causing any real damage to Gabriel IIâ‚¬â„¢s top armour. Perhaps it has something do with the sloped sides of Gabriel, as the axe canâ‚¬â„¢t really dig into them. And itâ‚¬â„¢s time again for Joey to drive in underneath Dannyâ‚¬â„¢s hexagon and flip it over, and this time it seems Danny fired the axe too hastily in order to self-right and now is propped up against the barrier with the axes hanging over the other side! But no stacking in this competition, so after 30 seconds Gabriel spins around and slams one of the side spikes into the underbelly of Axes of Evil, then pulls Danny down off the wall with the spike still stuck in underneath! Joey pulls Danny across the arena, not allowing him to self-right by keeping that spike dug in deep and now dragging Axes of Evil onto the killsaws for the second time in this bout! BZZT! The saws knock the spike out of Axes of Evil, allowing Danny to hit the button that fires the axes and right himself, and the moment heâ‚¬â„¢s on his wheels he reverses into Gabriel and pushes the 14th seed onto the killsaws for a taste of his own medicine! BZZT! Gabriel is spun around by the hazard and finds himself back to back with Axes, and now the only thing he can do is push Danny back across the arena floor, but Danny isnâ‚¬â„¢t making it easy for Joey and relentlessly brings that weapon down on Gabriel II again and again before he is pushed onto the killsaws on the other end of the arena. BZZT! Axes is spun away again, landing on Gabriel IIâ‚¬â„¢s flipper, allowing Joey to overturn that robot yet again, and this exposes a small gash in the polycarbonate base armour, perhaps caused by the saws? It seems so, but the gash is made invisible again as Axes rights itself and slams Gabriel II with the weapon one last time before Joey pushes underneath and flips him against the arena wall.

CEASE!

Both robots are still mobile at the end of that fight, so weâ‚¬â„¢re going to the judgeâ‚¬â„¢s decision.

Danny: Yes, it was a long and tense battle, we both got some good attacks in so it could have gone either way.
Me: Did you think you had it?
Danny: No, but I didnâ‚¬â„¢t think Iâ‚¬â„¢d definitely lost it either. Very close.
Me: I would have thought you would have had a larger damage advantage with your axe over his flipper.
Danny: But he did put those spikes to good use and did some damage with the hazards as well.
Me: Okaaaaaaaaaaaaay, now letâ‚¬â„¢s hit the coliseum for the second heat semi-final!

Bio-Hazardâ‚¬â„¢s low frame helped it to avoid Death Wish 2â‚¬â„¢s spinning disc in round 1, but PsycloniZerâ‚¬â„¢s hammers are placed well enough to be able to hit opponents both low and high, so Bio-Hazard could be feeling the full force here. It met Tira IIIâ‚¬â„¢s spinning disc last season and fared badly, and now it seems to be the same as Bio manages to reach PsycloniZer before it gets to full speed, meaning it doesnâ‚¬â„¢t take much damage this time and is able to get in underneath Andy to turn the ring spinner onto its back. However, PsycloniZer is invertible and reverses away to get up to full speed this time before coming back on the attack at top speed in the drive as well to smack Bio-Hazard just as the lifter comes up, and suddenly Bio-Hazard has no lifter! PsycloniZer couldnâ‚¬â„¢t have caught it at a better moment, and now the ex-Battlebots champion is weapon-less! Daniel tries to push PsycloniZer, but thereâ‚¬â„¢s nothing to stop robots driving over Bio-Hazard so thatâ‚¬â„¢s what Andy does while he spins up, and then he reverses into the rear of Bio-Hazard!
CRASH!
The rear skirt comes flying off and Bio-Hazard goes flying across the arena and slams into the opposite wall hard! PsycloniZer spins up again and waits for Bio-Hazard to come back on the attack again, but thereâ‚¬â„¢s no movement from Daniel just yet as he turns to get Bio-Hazardâ‚¬â„¢s armoured side to face the whirling hammers of PsycloniZer this time. He heads across the arena, perhaps trying to nudge Andy into the wall for that to take the brunt of the attack, but PsycloniZer is ready for that old trick and comes to the centre of the arena to meet Bio-Hazard head on, ripping off the front skirts and a side panel in one fantastic smash of an attack! Bio-Hazard once again flies off across the arena and hits the barrier, and this time there really is no movement. PsycloniZer powers down as the crowd count Bio-Hazard down and out of the contest.

CEASE!

It seems that the powerful hits of PsycloniZer knocked the Radio Receiver inside of Bio-Hazard loose and without any radio signalsâ‚¬â„¢ telling it where to go Bio-Hazard is eliminated, allowing PsycloniZer to spinning on through to the heat final!

Daniel: Not really, that was only my realie.
Me: Do you think PsycloniZer can win the heat now?
Daniel: I would expect so.
Me: You did say before the round 1 match that you wished you had chosen a better realie, but Bio-Hazard dominated that opening round.
Daniel: Yes, I was quite surprised about that.
Me: Okaaaaaaaaaaaaay, letâ‚¬â„¢s go the commercial break now, weâ‚¬â„¢ll see you in a few!

Im going to go AGAINST the PsycloniZer trend:

Gabriel II FTW - its shape is going to hinder PsycloniZers hits, as its sloped, and PsycloniZer is designed to hit flat surfaces and edges.
In addition, the 5mm Ti armour may be a little flimsy, but around the panel edges is 5mm Hardox, making the panels VERY tough to remove, and the HDPE is going to quell the blows.
If Gabriel is strong enough also, it may stop the ring, and once the ring isnt spinning, itll be quick and easy to score an OOTA!
Another thing is at the front, the front of Gabriel is very low, so the hammers may just slide over, or only spin Gabriel a little, but not cause major flight across the ring, as the rear traction is very good.
