Thread: Getting a gear off a drill motor

    im having trouble doing the above an tips to how i can do it?

    I think Alex means the actual pinion gear on the motor shaft. I would heat the pinion up as well as using Adrians method, but heating will require less force to get it off.

    or clamp the gear in a vice and tap the motor shaft through with a punch.

    having some more problems with drill motors cant get the blue wheel off

    any tips?

    still having trouble getting this wheel off, i have tried putting the wheel in a vice then putting power to the motor no luck as of yet

    any other ways? ill be trying the above again just to be sure
