just wondering how many recivers can one spektrum transmitter control?
also im sure i have seen an offer in the last few days about buy one br6000 reciver get another free, anyone else seen it?

You can bind multiple receivers to ONE model.
Spektrum transmitters will run as many receivers as you like - we use multiple robots controlled by 1 transmitter at the same time.
Multiple models are for setting up different settings (heli/airplane setting, mixing, dual rate, exponential rates, channel reversing). With the DX6 you can bind any robot receiver, and they will respond on all model memories. The way they respond however depends on the transmitter settings of that model. So it could be your robot will drive forward on model 1, and backwards on model 2.
The failsafe settings of the receiver will be as you set them with the model setting you did the binding with.
On the DX7 and possibly the DX6i they have a feature called model match that prevents you using the wrong model memory with the wrong receiver. E.g. if you bind the receiver on model memory 1 and they change to model memory 2, the receiver will not respond.
Isnt that a DSM2 feature?
Possibly... Ill have a look tonight if it works on the AR6000
I believe that there is identification communication between the receiver and transmitter with DSM2.
