Im only posting this because it made me laugh.
Just phoned my insurance company to check if Hydra is insured on my home insurance.
Apparently its covered under the insurance for theft and accidental damage.
Then came the shocking news and they went out of their way to stress this IT IS NOT COVERED WHEN FIGHTING IN THE ARENA!!!

Come to think of it, my insurance company had to call me back whether or not my pinball machine was insured or not. Turns out it was, but also only against theft.
Back when I was still sword-fighting it turned out to be harder for women then for men to get a sports-insurance. Male sword-fighters apparently have a less risky pass-time than female ones. Or in other words: the insurers were afraid that the female sword-fighters would get hurt.
Weird hunh ? As if I would get hurt when facing an opponent swinging 2 kilos of steel and my male counterpart wouldnt.
Come to think of it, the only injuries sustained during our training fights and real fights were sustained by... the men.
Sometimes I wonder what the insurers base their presumptions on.
little warning, my household cover does cover my robots but not the car cover, so if ur car gets nicked with ur robot in the back you wont get anything back for it, atleast i wont,

it worked for paul cooper a few years ago at UKRG hotel carpark when his car got broken into.
Insurances will always fight it, but it depends how you fight back!! The words trading standards normally does the trick !!
