C Cells vs Sub C's

Hydra currently runs on two 36V packs using the sanyo C 3000mAH cells. We had to take one out for the UK champs to make the weight, which was a white knuckle ride even then.

I have four 36V packs using sub C cells (3000mAH). These fit in roughly the same space as the other packs and weigh about the same.

I thought Id ask before I did it if this is a sensible idea to replace them or are they likely to fall over than th larger C cells.

Toxic runs on 2 packs in paralell of 30volts
4.2ah sub c nimh, I have enough power but may change to 3 packs as I blew a cell this year and completed the fight on 1 pack (just !)

I also would like to know the differences between the two types of cells.
