I dont think anyone bar the judges and producer of the programme knew what the exact scoring was. Not being allowed to see the judges score cards was a constant gripe among roboteers.
What?! That aint right! Battlebots reveals how the JD works but not Robot Wars. There something not right about this.
I always just go for fight til one drops approach, which wouldnt work in the real world because in certain matches it would just go down to a who has the most batteries contest, however, its very rare to find two vapours in which neither has the potential to get its opponent out - particularly in the vgc arena (empty, indestructible walls, one side is a pit)
