    Mint-flavoured Tictacs:

Paul has in his control a very well-designed machine, and theres no way 1 tonne of crush will come close to breaching a 5mm hardox monocoque shell, or 6mm flipper arm for that matter. I am as surprised as Paul that my machine has come this far, but hopefully it can go that extra yard and claim the victory!

Nitro-Gene will be able to outpush me in a head-on joust, 4WD LEM-powered drive vs 2WD Bosch motor drive - heck, I wouldnt even bet on me winning that one. But Pauls traction and pushing power is only effective when the wheels are in contact with the ground
If I can somehow get a grip on Nitro-Genes chassis, the chances are itll have ridden up my little front wedge in the process, breaking its traction with the arena floor. All I then need to do is to make sure I hold on to Nitro-Gene and drag him, via a certain button, to the pit of oblivion. All of this I will aim to do as quickly as possible. For a final fight it may not look pretty but its the win that matters - putting on a show only comes second

Best of luck Paul, and may the best robot win!

It depends on ground clearance, Paul, and the length between the (rear) wheels and the rear end.

Thats assuming you drive on to me front-first Paul - there are still three other sides on your robot
And while they may have skirts, they cant possibly be effective for 100% of the match. At some point one of them will bounce up off of something, and thats when Ill aim to strike!
(or at least, I can TRY to do that - whether it actually works is a different matter :S)
