8 robots per heat. They fight in 2 round 1 four bot battles. Then the remaining bots fight in another 4 bot battle. The last bot standing goes to the semi-final. In the semis, same 4 bot battle format. Same in the grand final.

Behemoth comes straight into Intrigue, while Liar 2 attempts to get under that ground clearance. Intrigue is now trying to get its axe into those vulnerable sides, BUT BEHEMOTH HAS FLIPPED INTRIGUE! Meanwhile, Brutalis has gotten underneath that 20mm ground clearance, and FLIPS LIAR RIGHT INTO THE AIR! Liar 2 comes crashing down and out of the arena. Brutalis and Behemoth are ganging up on Intrigue, who is fighting back as well as he can while upside-down. AND BEHEMOTH HAS FLIPPED INTRIGUE OUT OF THE ARENA!
The two remain in a nice little tussle, tossing each other around.

Crimson Thunder has no weapons, but can seriously shove bots around with its pushing power.
Quantum has a powerful disc that can badly damage, or destroy other bots.
Starfire has a tough and powerful flywheel, capable of tearing even the toughest robots to shreds.
Seung Mina 3 has appeared in VRW before. It won the Gauntlet and Annihilator competitions. Very good flipper used here.

Crimson Thunder immediately rushes into Quantums disc, and IS HURLED OUT OF THE ARENA BY THE BLOW! Seund Mina 3 gets underneath Quantum, who is under a rather fierce attack by Starfire, and HAS LOST A SIDE PANEL! Quantum has stopped moving. Theres the Refbot coming in to count out Quantum, and QUANTUM MOVES! Now Quantum, going after Starfire, who is in a nice little tussle with Seung Mina 3, and QUANTUM SMASHES STARFIRE TO PIECES AND OUT OF THE ARENA!
