From Toronto, Ontario, Killobite 5.0!
Very similar to an earlier contestant, Nidhogg, its got a nice crusher and lifter combo which packs a wallop! The linear actuated bar at the rear also acts as a srimech, but the armour is doubtful. Will he give the opponents a nasty bite?
From Glasgow, Scotland, Metal Sonic Spin Dash!
Metal Sonic Spin Dash will fly by you in circles if youre not fast enough. Its got a mega-nasty attitude, 3000RPM front blade, and a nice top srimech. When you combine that with 6 wheel drive, and great traction, youve got a killer machine that will make Dr. Robotnik beg for mercy!
From Ormond Beach, Florida, The Revolutionist!
This robot hasnt had too much successes, except the part where it landed 2nd in the first US championships. Its got a full body spinner which spins at 1200RPM, but the lack of srimech might cause its downfall.

Say hello to the first battle of the final heat! Revolutionist immediately spins up, but MSSD just... ah! MSSD slams into the Revolutionist, and sparks begin to fly! Killobite crashes their party, and now, Killboite gets under the Revolutionist, and clamps it! Now, the runner up of the first US Robot Wars is in dire straits, as it gets dragged into the hammers!
WHAM!
OH! The armour is taking a huge battering! Now, the Revolutionist gets away, but somethings wrong... Revolutionist has stopped spinning! MSSD now takes that as an advantage, and pushes the Revolutionist into the hammers again! The 50kg hammer comes down!
WHAM!!
OH!!! The hammer just smashes into the Revolutionist! Revolutionist gets away, but with only limited movement, because I think that hammer mustve disabled some mechanics. Killobite comes in and slams into the pit button. Now, Killobite slams into Revolutionist, and clamps it again! The armour is taking serious damage there! Now, Killobite spares the Revolutionist from any more damage by shunting it into the pit. BOOM!

Looks like an antelope went on steroids! Spring-BOK has a launch pad powered by a few car springs, a Phillipper style set of srimechs on the sides, and its covered in orange fur? I think I smell burning... and that 8mm titanium underneath the fur looks a bit shabby,,,

Tempest is more of a hit than the movie Marley and Me. It has a ring spinner that spins at 1000RPM max, and dishes out a nasty 83 kJ! However, it doesnt have that much pushing power and its sometimes difficult to contrrol.

And say hello to the last of the first round battles! The spinner of Tempest is spinning madly, and Rupture slams into Spring-BOK, and slams it into the wall!
WHAM!
OUCH! Thats gotta hurt! The fur is stripped off from Spring-BOK, and now Spring-BOK drives away, only to find Tempest!
CRASH!!!!
WOAH!! That attack sent Spring-BOK flying, and now, the fur is almost all gone and there is a huge gash in the rear end there! Now, Tempest gets up to full speed yet again, and Rupture meanwhile, is still chasing Spring-BOK! Spring-BOK turns and shows Rupture its front, but too late. Rupture gets underneath somehow, and slams Spring-BOK into TEMPESTS SPINNER!!!!
CRASH!!!!
CRUSHED... Thats all I can say. Now, the side armour has taken a HUGE battering, and look at that! The side srimech arm is ripped out of shape there! Now, Tempest crashes into the pit button, and opens the pit, and Spring-BOK and Rupture are still duking it out, there! Rupture has Spring-BOK in the air again, and pushes him into Tempest! Spring-BOK tries getting away, but... too late.
CRASH!!!!
OH... MY... GOD! That hit sends Spring-BOK flying, and look at the OTHER side, its also completely bent! To be honest, I think Spring-BOK has no movement left anymore, do you? I think that when Tempest hit it, Look at that! Just ripped apart there! The count is on!
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... OUT!!!
Now, Rupture pushes Spring-BOK into the flames! FWOOM! Ah, bot flambe in the action here!

MSSD is a capable rammer as well as a capable sawbot, but I think Tempest can pull off a KO here.

Killobite immediately presses the pit button, and the pit opens. Now, Rupture gets underneath the side, and lifts Killobite up and over! Good self-righting there by Killobite, and now, it gets underneath Rupture with the front forks, and pins it down! Theres a dent in the hardox armour of Rupture, and now, it gets dragged into the hammers! The hammer comes BLASTING DOWN!!!
WHAM!
OH! Rupture gets one in the top armour! Now, Rupture gets away, and gets under the sides! Now, it slowly lifts Killobite onto its back, but Killobite self-rights. Now, Killobite fights back, with its own weapon... and Rupture gets clamped! Now, Rupture cannot seem to get away that easily from the grip of Killobite, its wheels are spinning, but it cant get away! Now, Killobite starts to slowly lever Rupture... towards the pit... Rupture is on the brink of oblivion... OH! It just gets away, and again, gets underneath the side ground clearence and lifts Killobite onto its back, and again, Killobite flips itself back onto its wheels, and now, Killobite gets underneath once again... and again, it levers Rupture... towards the pit, and Rupture cant get away.... BOOM! Down it goes! Its all over in 31 seconds!
CEASE!
Rupture gets ruptured.
Killobite goes through to the Heat Final!

Steve: I sure can. Its this bad boy that does the damage. *Shows her the sawblade* So, my tactics are to stop him from spinning, chew the bottom armour, and pit ASAP.

Woah! Tempest immediately spins up to full speed a little before activate was called... and could this be an advantage for Frank? Uh oh, not by the looks of that! MSSD gets under the ring spinner and SLAMS it into the wall!
WHAM!
Now, Tempest tries spinning up to full speed AGAIN, and it does, finally! Now, Tempest already smashes into the side of MSSD!
CRASH!!
OH, that was a massive hit! MSSD was sent spinning out of control there! Did that cause any damage, though? Yes, it did! There is a small dent in the side, but now, MSSD fights back again, by slamming Tempest into the wall!
WHAM!
Ouch. Thats got to hurt. Tempest looks a bit ponderous, doesnt it? Now, spinning up again, Tempest smashes into the other side!
CRASH!!!
OH, MSSD is sent spinning away, and very near the flames! Another dent is made in the armour of MSSD, and now, the other skirt is bent a bit, not too much. Anyway, MSSD is dangerously close to the flame grill. Get out of there, Steve, you dont want to have baked aerials.
CRASH!!!
OH!!!! I can feel THAT from where I am! One of the skirts was dislodged from the hinge! Look at that! What a deadly assault by Tempest! Lets have a look at it again... Tempest just ripped the skirt, and dislodged it from the hinge, there! Tempest, what a destructive machine this is! But, MSSD crashes into the whirling dervish, and drags it towards the pit! Now, Tempest... OH! Tempest just escapes somehow! Steve looks surprised, and now, Tempest spins up again, and now, the time is running out...
10... 9... 8...
CRASH!!!
WOAH!!! There goes a skirt flying off of MSSD, courtesy of Tempests spinning rim!

Tempest spins up again, and now, MSSD comes in!

Steve: Yeah, I wouldve won, if it wasnt for that meddlin full body spinner!
Sam: (Chuckles) Are you disappointed, or do you think the judges got it right?
Steve: Yeah, a bit of both. I mean, things didnt go according to plan, but I was getting battered real good out there, so I cant do anything about it now.
Sam: You going to come back again?
Steve: You bet!
Sam: All right, lets hear it for the gallant... METAL SONIC SPIN DASH!!

Killobite 5.0 vs. Tempest Evil-est-oution
Well I kinda knew Id be facing Tempest. One thing I know is that if he aint spinning, hes doomed. So Ill charge straight into him with the rear. Im not too hopeful, but my chassis should be able to deflect his blows. Im not too willing to sacrifice my lifting forks early on. When hes slowed down, turn around and ram him with the front end, get under, clamp, lift, drag to pit, drop.
And it should be 10:52pm in BC, Sam, if you just wrote this battle. Whats with this 5 a.m.? Or did you write it early this morning? :P lol
Ahem.... if I could have your attention please... due to the fact I have too much going on at school, Ive decided to put this tourney on hold until further notice. I am not doing any hypos or cancellations. :sad:

Tempest is, of course, the runner up of Crash and Burn 2, and it also has a great ring spinner. So, it could really go either way. WOAH! Sparks litter the arena and both bots are spun away! However, there is very little damage caused to Killobite, there; it€™s nothing but a tiny scratch. Now, the ring spinner from Gainsborough spins up again, and barges in!
CRASH!!!
€¦and again, both bots are spun away, and there is yet another tiny scratch in the chassis of Killobite! This will hopefully score Tempest some points. Now, Tempest is spinning again, and both bots go on a collision course! Killobite barges in with the rear again!

Sparks fly again, and the audience seems to love the action here! Tempest has been slowed down, and Killobite turns around, and tries to grab it€¦ but Tempest somehow gets away, and spins up to full speed ahead! Now, Killobite gets the hell over to Tempest again!

More sparks fly, and Tempest makes another small dent in the chassis of Killobite! Kody realizes that the tides are turning against him, so he presses the pit button, and Killobite grabs Tempest! Now, it drives towards the pit! But WAIT! Tempest gets away again, and spins up! Good defense by Tempest, there. Now, Tempest again, barges in with the spinning ring€¦ RIGHT IN THE BACK!!!
CRASH!!!
That hit sends both robots spinning out of control, and Killobite spins almost into the pit, and now, Tempest spins up to full speed€¦

This is the original Gabriel, I think. Its got 7mm titanium armour and some Hardox over that, but its got an aluminium baseplate, and being a tri-drum axlebot, I can knock him over and hit the baseplate with the end drums.

I think Leprosy can actually win, sorry Dan.

Aw no. :S Im gonna attack the lifter and hope that it stops working, then just shred away. Though if I can get around to the sides, I should have no problem dealing with it. Mainly hit the lifter, then back off. Then attack again, and back off. Repeat until hes dead.
Intrigue vs. Yet Another Cut Above The Rest

Son of Ripper Hex vs. Super Gore Evo
I dont like this match-up. :S His angled sides are gonna give me a hell of a time trying to grab him. Gonna use the piercing claws here, and hope to get under SoR Hex from anywhere, if I can. After that, use the ends of the piercing claws to latch onto his top armour and clamp him between the scoop and claws. That is, if hes low enough. If not, Ill actually pierce him!
Pure Evil: Revenge of the Disc vs. Whirligig 4.5
Pure Evil is a dead bot. Steve-O FTW.
Archangel of the Abyss vs. Tempest Evil-est-oution
Two overkill FBS/ring spinners...uh...I say ArchAngel given its weight advantage.
