Well, if Im allowed to revise my stats then fine, and thisll be what my robot will look like.

WORCK

€ WEIGHT: 100kg

€ ARMOUR: 5mm Hardox for the body and flipper. 6mm Hardox for the scoop. There are hindged wedges on the sides and rear of Worck made of 3.25mm Hardox. Behind the armour, all the way around Vulkanised rubber to shock-proof it against spinners.

€ SHAPE: A low wedge shape.

€ MOTORS: 2 x S28-400 MagMotors at 36V = 12HP

€ LOCOMOTION: 4 Vulkanised Wheels.

€ DIMENSIONS: (L) 70CM (H) 15CM (W) 70CM

€ COLOUR: Black for the flipper and barbs, white for the body.

€ WEAPONRY: A forward hindged flipper, running on a single 750psi ram running on CO2. The gas is contained in 2 x 2.5kg bottle, giving me 20 flips per fight, and the gearing on the ram 3:1 means we have 1300kg of flipping force! That should mean on a forward hindged flipper that I can flip almost everything OOTA.

€ SPEED: 13mph

€ GROUND CLEARANCE: The wedges, which join up at the corners of the robot, make the ground clearance effectively zero, but underneath the wedges is 5mm of clearance. The wedges are held on by Titanium hindges

€ STRENGTH: Near impossible to get under.

€ WEAKNESS: Low speeds.

If you ask where all the shock-proofing came from, I lost 5kg on the redesign, so I added in that in case I faced a spinner.

yeah, I have two robots here. Dont know if that will be fixed, but whatever. Crimson Thunder will ram one of the Door Stops around, which should be easy given the weight, will one of the Gemini twins will try and flip the other. The second Gemini twin will hang around in the vicinity of the pit. If things turn sour for Crimson Thunder, itll drive itself in to save my better entry.

as Fire & Ice will be keeping Dennis busy, ill dart in and give it a few whacks with the flywheel while Joey shoves it around.

Yes Alex - I do fancy a gang-up on SOR. My axe rivals that of Axeon, an AJ robot which is claimed to have the ability to dent Hardox. Ill happily dent the top several times, maybe force the armour down far enough to immobilise one side of it to make it easier to pit.

Do you also plan to help Worck take out The Matador?

Baldur VS Knocking Out VS SOR Hex - Bring on a team up at your peril. I€™ll go for the horizontal bar here. Spin up, and go crazy on Knocking Out. Those skirts look like some nice food. 5mm Titanium is also quite bad, I should put some nice slices in that. Paul also provided me with a weakness to exploit - €œeasily flipped€ - so once those skirts are removed I€™ll throw it around. For the record Paul, your axe is nothing like Axeon€™s and I€™m not seeing it do any damage at all to SOR€™s top armour. Baldur doesn€™t particularly bother me, but if it wants a pop at me, get to its sides and bury my blade in. 5mm Kevlar and some foam? It may as well be cardboard.
