E Clawdius Unum vs. Axeon 2.0

I think this is going to be a bit of a stalemate. While we both have good weapons, we both have even better armour. My axe isn€™t going to damage 4mm Hardox and E Clawdius Unum€™s crusher isn€™t going to damage 6mm Hardox. To add to this problem, we are both skirted and are going to have a hard time getting under each other. The difference here being that I can use my weapon without getting under the opponent, while E Clawdius Unum cannot. Even though it€™s not likely to do much damage, keep bludgeoning it with the axe and rack up some style points. I might even get lucky and shake something lose inside. The other option is to grapple Clawdius with the axe and push it around the arena into trouble.

Axeon 2.0 VS E CLAWDIUS UNUM
AJs right - were both pretty equal in terms of weaponry and armouring - but Clawdius has a little something extra to help get under Axeon. I of course refer to the front flattened spikes. Clawdius main tactic will be to charge Axeon from the sides and try to slip underneath with the spikes. If successful, grapple and dont let go. The combination of the claws and the barbs will make it very difficult for AJ to shake himself loose. Head for the pit and dump it like radioactive waste.

Steve: Seriously? Meh, Ill grab and pit it in about a minute or so. For beating my beloved Killotine, Im planning to get him... BUT GOOD!
Laura: Ooh, bitter rivalry, eh?

Laura: Hahahaha!

Bitter rivalry, indeed. A nice wedge shape, with that crusher and spears at the front, and thats why we all love the emperor!

It doesnt get any Axeon-packed than this!

Laura: Im standing with Axeon and AJ himself. Remember when Steve beat you with E Clawdius Unum in Heat N?
AJ: Oh no, Im not liking the sound of that. I think I know what it means.
Laura: Yes, you are up against... E Clawdius Unum!
AJ: Augh. Well, Axeon cant penetrate 4mm hardox, and at the same time, his crusher cant penetrate 6mm Hardox, which I have, so its going to be bit of a stalemate... but hear this, Steve! Ive beaten Killotine, and Im going to do it again to Clawdius, so watch out, here I come!
Laura: Ooh, thems fighting words from you. Good luck in the arena.

Yup, thems fighting words, all right. Axeon has an enormous axe waiting to pound the crap out of everything, good pushing power, LEM-drive, one word, OUCH! But limited CO2... hmm... Im not too confident about THAT...
In Heat M: Hacked Salamander 3 in a JD, and then sentenced Killotine to the pit, before finally taking out MacDuff the 2nd.

Roboteers, Stand By...

Theres Steve-O himself, driving E Clawdius Unum from Booth 1, and theres Andy Jackson on Booth 2 driving Axeon... and waving to the audience, there.

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!

And off we go with the first ever fight of the Semi-Finals! Axeon is slightly the faster here at 18 mph, while Clawdius has 14 mph top speed. Now, coming in for the kill, both of these robots charge at each other, and Clawdius nudges Axeon with the spears, but nobodys really getting underneath anyone. Clawdius backs up into the pit button... the pit goes down, and now, the crusher from Scotland charges at Axeon again! Axeon at the same time... charges straight towards Clawdius and axes it!
WHACK!
Ouch, thats gonna leave a mark... and it has! There is a medium sized dent in the armour, there! That is good weapon use by Axeon there. Now, the axe-bot from Shropshire is charging at Clawdius again, but Clawdius makes a turn, and somehow gets underneath Axeon with those front spikes, and grabs it from behind! Thats a good attack there by Steve! Axeons wheels are spinning frantically, and AJ fires the axe, but it cant seem to get away from Clawdiuss grasp! Now, it takes a ride on the saws! BZZT! Ah, sparks fly. How lovely. However, Axeon seems to be still stuck in Clawdiuss beak... no! Its free! Axeon can move again! Now, Axeon immediately responds by bringing its axe down...
WHACK!
...and another dent is made in Clawdiuss armour! Both robots are continuing to relentlessly attack each other, here! However, Clawdius crashes into Axeons rear and gets underneath again, and snags a wheel hole with the barbs! Now, it starts to lever the axe-bot towards the pit... Axeon cant get away now... BOOM! Down it goes! Its over in less than a minute; well done to Steve-O!

It literally shocked us all in Heat B, after taking out the famed flipper, Wedgas Revenge!

Laura: Now, I hear you and Michelle got along so well while I was gone!
Kody: Yeah, I did.
Laura: Haha, I envy you. Anyway, you are up against... Gabriel!
Kody: Well, I know its got 7mm Titanium and some hardox, but the baseplate is aluminium, so Ill try and knock it over, and chew away on the base. Try to get at the tyres if I want to. :wink:
Laura: All right then, good luck. Oh yeah, and Michelle asked me to give this to you.
Kody: Oh, whats this? (Reading: Kody, you were great at cracking me up with your jokes. I think Ill most likely come back again to hear more! Youre awesome! -Signed, Michelle Tomczak) Hahahahaha!

Oh, for heavens sakes... A nice drum shaped robot with a 3500RPM spinning drum, and two spinning hubs that go around at 6000RPM! It also has a nice and sturdy 9mm Titanium armour, as well. However, its wheels are pretty much the Achilles Heel here.
In Heat B: Obliterated Panzer Mk 4, Drummed out Supreme Glory Gamma, before banging on Wedgas Revenge and eventually knocking it down the pit.

From Pontefract in Yorkshire, Gabriel!
The angel of death is back again to kill some bots!

Laura: Well Joey, its good to see you again!
Joey: Thanks a lot.
Laura: So, what have you got for us this time?
Joey: The same old flipper, and titanium armour with some hardox over that. Not much changed.
Laura: That looks great! What do you think of your opponent?
Joey: Well, Kody IS a very good roboteer, and its going to be difficult, but Ill keep my front facing him at all times, and either push into the pit, or flip it over the wall.
Laura: All right then, good luck.
Joey: Thank you.

A large elongated tetrahedron shape, with a front flipper, two spikes at the sides, and capable of throwing opponents into submission. However, its a bit shabby in the armour department, with an aluminium baseplate... :sad:
Heat H: Threw Gemini and Panic Attack out of the arena, and then pitted Exertion in the heat final.

Roboteers, Stand By...

As usual, Kody Kunz is in Booth 1, driving Aftershock, and Gabriel v1.25 is also in the arena, with Joey McConnell, the driver, in Booth 2.

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!

Aftershock immediately spins up here, and you can hear the revving of the drum motor! Gabriel, meanwhile, is trying to find a weak spot, but now, Aftershock immediately crashes into Gabriels side!
CRASH!!
WHOA! Sparks are flying, as Aftershocks drum flips over Gabriel! There is a big dent on the side of Gabriel, and the paintwork is scratched! Gabriel self-rights at once, and charges at Aftershock, and... temporarily stopping the drum somehow! Now, it carries the drum over to the side wall, but because of Aftershocks odd shape, it is hard to flip over! Now, Gabriel goes into spin mode, and Aftershock begins to spin up again, and smashes into the Pontefract machine!
CRASH!!!!
... and more sparks are flying! Now, Aftershock spins up again, and you cannot even see the blades! Now, both robots go on a collision course again...
CRASH!!!
More sparks are flying, and now, Aftershock barges in with the drum right into the rear end!
CRASH!!!
The impact flips Gabriel over, and it lands on its back! Now, Aftershock spins up yet again, and Gabriel tries to self right. Bad idea. Gabriel self-rights, and gets one... oh no, not in the base!!!
CRASH!!!!
WOAH!!! More sparks are flying, and Gabriel is being relentlessly attacked, here! The close-up camera shows that a wheel is punctured! Gabriel self rights, but that initial attack leaves Gabriel handicapped, and its starting to limp across the arena! Aftershock goes in for another one in the side!
CRASH!!
Just like in the early scenes of the match, the attack flips Gabriel over. Very outstanding job there, by Aftershock. Gabriel self-rights again, and decides to limp over to Aftershock, and now, Gabriel starts to spin!
WHACK!
OH! The side spikes hit the drum of Aftershock, and sparks are flying again! Gabriel tries to catch up to the Canadian drummer, and it eventually does, and tries to flip it over, but the drum-shaped robot is hard to get a hold of! Aftershock fights back with some of its own weapon!
CRASH!!
WOAH!!! What a collision; that hit knocks Gabriel over onto its back, but it self-rights again! Now... Gabriel is continuously moving around in circles... and Aftershock is positioning itself, and it whacks Gabriel again in the rear end!
CRASH!
... and the drum flips over the flipper from Pontefract upon contact! It tries to self-right, but Aftershock waits, and just when you thought Gabriel was safe...
SMASH!!
The other wheel has been shredded, and now, its safe to say that Aftershock has won this. Gabriel has been righted, but it cant go anywhere at all... Aftershock opens the pit button... and finally, it spins up again, and Joey tells Kody to stop, but would he listen? NOO.
CRASH!!!
... and thats it. Gabriel somersaults straight into the pit of oblivion. Well done to both teams!

From Onehouse, in Suffolk, Leprosy Infection!
Named from the disease which causes the skin to flake... ugh, keep that drum away from me!

Laura: Now, Chris, you are up against Dennis the Menace, how do you feel about that?
Chris: Dennis the Menace, eh? Well, he's got a much faster drum, but I think my 7mm Titanium should withstand his attacks.
Laura: All right, tactics?
Chris: Get away from the front, because it creeps me out, and go for the back or sides.
Laura: So, is Leprosy ready to infect Dennis?
Chris: You bet!
Laura: That's the spirit!

A Tetanus Booster shaped robot, with a 7mm Titanium armour, and a drum that spins at a mind-blowing 4000RPM... and this drum has torn out panels, skirts, and who knows what else! Can you say, OUCH?! However, there is a tiny flaw to it; it's invertible, but that means crushers and axes can find its tyres...
In Heat A: Dismantled 147, drummed out Dante, and finally took out Wedginator in a hard-fought battle.

From Merthyr Tydfil in Wales, Dennis the Menace!
It made its first appearence in Heat G, and has been a menacing opponent to the other bots!

Laura: Dennis is back and ready to fight, I suppose?
Dan: That's right.
Laura: That's great! Now, you are up against Leprosy Infection.
Dan: Hmmm... another drum-bot, eh? Well, just keep annoying him by smashing into the sides/rear, I guess. Not much more I can do, really...
Laura: Mkay, and what do you think of your opponent?
Dan: Well, I respect Chris very much, that's for sure. However, respect is nothing when it's compared to victory.
Laura: Hahahaha. Well, best of luck.
Dan: Thank ye.

Respect is nothing when compared to victory, eh? *Writes it down* OK, now that's over and done with, DTM is a very formidable foe with 5mm Ti/V Alloy armour, and a drum weapon capable of reaching 12000RPM! However, this MIGHT self-destruct preeeetty easily...
In Heat G: Broke Fire and Ice's tracks, Smashed ISDSFA and made it look more like I saw Dennis smash Frank's armour, and finally reduced Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus to dinosaur bones.

Booth 1: Leprosy Infection
Booth 2: Dennis

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!

Off we go again, with both drums spinning at frightening speeds, and both bots crash into each other, drum first!
CRASH!!!
... and both bots go flying! Now, Leprosy drives away, and now, it crashes into DTM, drum spun up to full speed!
CRASH!!
... and this time, DTM is the one who goes flying, there! Good attack there by Chris. Dan tries fighting back, and tries turning, but...
CRASH!!
... again, DTM is tossed lightly up into the air, and now... Chris turns and backs into the pit release button. Now, DTM fights back, and uses the drum on Leprosy!
CRASH!!!
OH!!! Leprosy is sent for a ride, and now, it lands near the pit. You don't want to fall in the pit, get out of there, Chris. Chris barely gets away, and now, he drives Leprosy's drum into the side of DTM immediately!
CRASH!!!
DTM is knocked over again by Leprosy's drum, there! Good attack again by Chris, it leaves a big dent in the side of DTM! Now don't forget, Leprosy was 4th in EOTR2, and it kinda looks like as if he is going to do it again, isn't it?

...oh, but Dan says, I beg to differ, and drives DTM's drum into Leprosy again! Leprosy is overturned with a big dent in the side there, and starting to spin up that great big drum again! Now, it crashes into DTM with all its might!

OH!!! DTM is dented badly in the side! Now, Leprosy is still inverted, and DTM crashes into Leprosy with the drum!!

A nice scratch is made in the side panel of Leprosy there, but still, I think it is superficial... or is it? Now, hang on a minute here... Leprosy is back on its right side up, but it doesn't really seem to move freely... in fact, I don't think DTM is moving freely either. Both robots are sort of limping along here, and Leprosy crashes into the side of DTM with the drum!
CRASH!!!
WHOA HO! DTM is tossed up into the air again, and comes down with a sickening thump! Chris puts his fist up in the air for joy, but meanwhile, Dan looks a bit worried. Now DTM has got only one wheel on their wagon... I think that when DTM hit the floor, the impact must've disabled something, or whatever, and to be honest, I think Leprosy has won the battle... Chris puts the drum to use again, and...
CRASH!!!
DTM lands near the pit and almost in... and now, Dennis can't really seem to escape here, but tries all he can. However Leprosy comes in with a final shove... BOOM! See ya Dan!

Laura: Kody, you've got one robot through, do you think you can get another win?
Kody: Well, it entirely depends on who my opponent is.

Kody: Augh, I had to ask. Well, just attack the lifter and hope it stops working, and then back off as soon as he starts to raise the lifter.
Laura: Anything you have to say to Martijn?
Kody: Not much I can say but these three words: BRING IT ON!
Laura: All right then. Good luck.
Kody: You got it.

Hmm... bring it on, eh? I swear I heard that from somewhere else... Anyway, a nice wedge shaped robot with a very scary 25kg vertical spinner that spins at 2200RPM! It's knocked out countless robots in the past, however, it has a slight problem to it... IT HAS NO SRIMECH! :sad:
In Heat E: Knocked out ARRTDS, discombobulated Slaying Mantis F, and finally took out Crimson Thunder without any problems at all.

From Enschede, Holland, Back to Rock 3!
The question is, will he truly rock you?

Laura: So, Martijn, what modifications have you made?
Martijn: Well, the skirts were badly damaged during the Heat Final, so I fixed it, and I also fixed the gash on the back as well.
Laura: That looks aweosme! Right then, now you are up against... Tira 3.
Martijn: Tira 3? Bugger. Well, Tira has one disadvantage: the fact that it has no srimech.
Laura: So, if it's flipped over, it's dead?
Martijn: Right. So, I'll boxrush Tira from the start, and flip it over. Then, I shall rush it to the pit and dump it like garbage.
Laura: All right then. Good luck.
Martijn: Yup.

A box-shaped robot with nice armour, a nice lifter weapon and saw blade combination, and it even has 6-wheel-drive! It has great weapon synergy but I am not a fan of the titanium armour.
In Heat L: Beat up Humdrum, Darkestar, and eventually disposed of Sakura in a long tussle.

Booth 2: Back to Rock

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!

Off we go, with Tira 3 already spinning up to its maximum potential! Now, it reaches its top speed, and crashes into Back to Rock's lifter!
CRASH!!!
Spacks are flying, and the audience loves it! But Back to Rock fights back with some pushability, gets underneath the back somehow and slams Tira 3 into the wall!
WHAM!
Now, it uses its lifter to lift Tira 3 over! Now, if Tira 3 gets flipped over, then that is it for Kody... but Tira 3 fortunately drives off. The disc is spinning like hell! Now, using all its might, it crashes into the side of the Dutch machine!
CRASH!!!!!!
WOAH! That dislodges the skirt from the hinge, and flips over Back to Rock! Back to Rock self-rights but now, Tira 3, using the rear wedge, pushes Back to Rock and slams it near the pit button!
WHAM!!
Ouch, that's got to hurt. Now, the Canadian discbot just charges into Back to Rock, but it gets away, and Tira is left to annhilate the pit button!
CRASH!!!!
Aargh. The pit button is dislodged. How many times do you need to be reminded that the pit button is not a toy?! Tira 3 spins up again, turns and strikes Back to Rock's side yet again!
CRASH!!
That sends the dislodged skirt flying out of its socket, and the impact almost tips Back to Rock over! Now, Back to Rock immediately fights back by slamming Tira into the wall!
CRASH!
Now Back to Rock uses the lifter to lift Tira off the ground, and the sawblade rattles against the titanium armour of Tira! Now, Tira 3 is in real trouble here... but it gets away, and spins up! Now it crashes into Back to Rock's other side! Uh-oh, this does not look good!
CRASH!!!
OH!!! Wham bam thank you ma'am, indeed! The other skirt gets ripped away from the hinge, and the impact flips over Back to Rock, and it comes down with a thump! Now, Back to Rock self-rights. Bad idea. Tira 3 spins up again and rams Back to Rock! Oh no, it gets one in the base!
CRASH!!!!!
WOAH!!! More sparks are flying, and Back to Rock's base is badly damaged! Tira 3 drives away, but Back to Rock starts to limp across the arena. However, Back to Rock somehow catches up to Tira, and ram-foos it into the wall!

Ouch, that's got to hurt. Now, Tira 3 spins up... and it rams Back to Rock yet again, and it goes for the side!

WOAH!!!! Tira 3 just slams into Back to Rock, and sends it flying onto its back! Back to Rock, with a panel hanging loose on the left side, tries to self right, but Tira uses the same tactics as before, and slams in with the disc right into the base armour!
CRASH!!!!
Back to Rock continues to take some horrible punishment to the base armour there... hang on, has Back to Rock STOPPED WORKING?! Has Tira 3 knocked off something inside, I wonder? Well, whatever it is, it leaves Back to Rock absolutely stunned! Tira 3's flywheel coasts to a complete stop, and it spares Back to Rock from any more damage, by using the rear wedge and shunting it down the pit. BOOM! Now, Tira 3...
CRASH!!!!!!
OI! Tira swats the pit button, and smacks it into Back to Rock! Your impudence will cost you, Mr. Kunz! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Tira III vs. Leprosy Infection

I doubt Leprosy Infection has the power to toss Tira over with its drum. I'm going to attack its drum since I'm quite sure I'd come out the better in a direct collision. Just keep smacking it until it stops.

E Clawdius Unum vs. Aftershock

I remember losing to this bot in AJWars: Another Era. Hit it with the main drum, then back the hell off and ward it away with the end spinners until I get the main drum back up to speed. Repeat until Clawdius dies.

And please stop copy-pasting some of our tournament lines, Samuel. We are quite proud of people's originality and we don't like it stolen (except it's different with the vapourbots themselves. Why, look at all of The Disc clones. )

Tira 3 VS Leprosy Infection

Laura: Well Kody, I've got some good and bad news.
Kody: What's the bad news?
Laura: The bad news is you're up against Leprosy Infection.
Kody: Mkay, what's the good news?
Laura: If you win this, you are in the Grand Final, regardless of the result of the next battle against E Clawdius Unum.
Kody: Leprosy Infection... well, the first thing to do is attack the drum, and hope it gets disabled. When it does, I'll go and smack the daylights out of it until it dies. The titanium is quite strong, but if memory serves me right, in Series 5 of Robot Wars, HypnoDisc won against a titanium armoured robot, Dominator 2. Of course Tira's disc is almost 3 times as more powerful, so it will probably be pretty easy... but of course I could be wrong. :P

Chris: Aw crap. Well, I know the skirts make it almost impossible to flip. So, yeah. Can't do much other than ripping off the skirts.

Both goes flying, and Tira immediately recovers after the violent onslaught! Leprosy is also okay, and now it spins up, and crashes into the side of Tira, clearly avoiding that flywheel!

Ah, how lovely. Sparks litter the arena floor! Now, Tira fights back, and slams into Leprosy's side, there!

OH!!! Leprosy is taken for a ride there, and it leaves a huge gash into the armour! Good attack there by Tira, I must say! Now, Leprosy is spinning up, and crashes into Tira!

WOAH! That sends sparks flying, but Tira 3 is okay. Now, Tira spins up, and SLAMS the disc into Leprosy's drum!

WOAH!!! Leprosy is taken for a massive ride again, but Leprosy's drum has STOPPED! Tira 3's disc must've disabled the drum, and now... Leprosy Infection can't spin up! Tira 3 immediately takes that to advantage, and smashes into the side of Leprosy!

Sparks are flying, and Leprosy is getting tossed relentlessly here! Now, the bot from Suffolk is in all sorts of trouble, but now, Leprosy pushes Tira 3 into the saws! BZZZT! Sparks are flying, and the audience loves it! Now, Tira carries Leprosy into the hammers, using the rear wedge!

OH!! The 7mm titanium is taking some horrible punishment! But now, Leprosy fights back! It charges at Tira and pushes it into the wall! Oof! That's gonna leave a mark. But Tira retaliates, by charging into Leprosy's rear end!

The disc tosses Leprosy upon contact, but Leprosy is just managing to hold on! Now, Leprosy is running in circles, and not able to move freely, here; again, Tira spins up, this time it gets the side of Leprosy!

WOAH!!! There goes a side panel flying off of it, and now... Tira is just being relentless here! Tira is just attacking Leprosy non-stop... and again!!!

There goes another side panel, and now... Leprosy doesn't seem like he's moving, is it? I think Tira has won this... and the countdown is on!
