Just summarised the groups of weapons and its looking like a nice mixture indeed:

Passive/Rambots - 12 (although Im sure Pillow Torque will have something to say about being described as passive! :wink
Flippers - 5
Electric lifters - 5
Horizontal/Full Body Spinners - 5
Vertical/Drum Spinners - 3
Crushers - 1
Axes - 1

This is assuming all the robots have the weapons I think they have. According to the website, the draw takes place tomorrow - Im looking forward to seeing what matches it throws up

Going to do the draw AWS style and change what i said originally about drivers,
people who have 2 robots will be seperated into 2 halves of the draw so you cant fight your own robot till the end

Drivers, you can have the same driver for both entries for those who have entered 2 robots if they clash later in the competition then another driver from any other team may drive the robot

Draw takes place tomorrow and will be posted at noon tomorrow with Host news

I hope i dont get drawn up against a spinner with savage, its going to be its first time out and will be untested and i dont really want to retire the robot after 10secs with a spinner.

i want hornet or a flipper.. did some work on the selfwrighter today for 360 the arm weighs 45grams lol and a second new more powerful motor should arrive friday.. Just need to order the gears now

The Draw is done

before I post who is fighting who let me just say how the draw was done, The draw was split in 2 parts
1st- robots were randomly drawn into an order 1-32

2nd- Robots were drawn into groups

Robots were split into 3 pots, double entries pot 1 and 3 and single entries in pot 2
Pot 2 was drawn into pot 1 and 3, 6 robots from pot 2 went into pot 1 and 6 into pot 3
Pot 2 was then discarded
Pot 1 was drawn of heats A,B,C, D
Pot 3 was drawn of heats E,F, G, H

Draw was witnessed by 3 people

D- Kaizer, Kishar, Pillow Torque, Hornet

E- Mini mighty mouse, Ploughbot, Tiny Toon, Beauty 2

F- Holigan, Pain in the Asp, Tuff Luck 2, Drumroll

G- Tanto XP, Whirlpool, Dizzy Tilly, J.A.B.O.W 2

H- Terror Turtle, Dragon Strike, Prodigey Evo, Boom

heats A-D will form semi final 1
heats E-H will form semi final 2

one robot from each heat will qualify for the semi finals and 2 robots from the semi finals will make the final
