we will party in the arena :P
Hey guys
sorry for a delay in updating, things are moving but as usual more slowly than id like.
Entry system is slow in the coming but Im still asking people to enter via rebelrobotics(at)gmail.com
ill have a website soon, the one thats up now is jus a place holder
To quash some rumours and out and out lies that are around, the arena is aimed (wont be confirmed til FRA come and see it in june) to be Class 1/2 it HAS the exclusion zone and is not a Battlebox Clone.
There is no prize money, I dont know who has said the entry fee will go to a prize fund but its wrong.
anything else?
So Craig.
Date & Venue
23, 24 and 25th August @ Burntwood Business Park
Entry Fee ... unknown as yet.
A Team may enter 2 Feathers and 2 Heavies ..So are you charging per Bot or per Team?
I know its probably pushing you a bit but a guide price might be useful.
Per Team is best for me woody, cant tell u a price yet but will give a price before I open entries
you may have mentioned this before but will there be any arena hazards? or is this something your keeping a surprise?![]()

Suprise
New site
http://www.rebel-robots.comhttp://rebel-robots.com
Entry form is online
Entry Fee is listed on the site
Entry for a single robot is £50
Entry for multiple robots is £100
Sorry its so high but its unfortunatly necessary, your fee goes towards the insurance for the event, not to a prize fund or to paying for the polycarb as ive heard. Im sorry its high but it cant be helped.

craig, is the tv deal a signed deal. basically are you 100% sure it will be on tv?
Im sorry I cannot comment on the TV deal as of yet, its in a delicate state.
Im 100% it will go ahead as an event, its the only full combat event in the UK and thats what we needed as a sport.
Im not going to publiclly post anything about the TV deal til Im ready too, sorry Adrian youll just have to wait
