didnt realise they were 1 on 1s

if so, what happens say if your robot gets bashed so it cant be repaired and so cannot fight in its next one on one is that robot disqualified?

As i said before its double elimination, this means you have a minimum of 2 fights
your first defeat will put you in the losers bracket, a second will send you home

if you cant continue to fight due to damage you forfeit the fight which counts as a loss

the whole championship is 1 on 1 in the last show there is time for 4 melees 1 middleweight melee and 3 heat loser melees 1st, 2nd, an 3rd round knocked out robots get a chance to save some face, the results of which will effect your final standings and next years rank

Gary, fancy your chances at trying to take a bite out of Pillow Torque?
    Good prediction Geoff

Team Terminal Damages long-winded and overanalysed heat predictions:

    Heat A
    Smash, Suprize, 360, Crumple Zone

If 360 is fully-functional, its my top dog to win this heat. If it doesnt, my moneys on Alex to put that claw to good use and for Crumple Zone to progress.

    Heat B
    Aftershock, Conundrum, Ironside, Pure Evil

While an OOTA doesnt guarantee a win, it does help add to the points tally, therefore Aftershock should be able to chalk up a lot of points and progress. If not, my support goes to the drums and for Conundrum to take it (although Ive not yet seen Pure Evil in action)

    Heat C
Savage, Cylon, Beauty 3, Mr Happy

Again, Beauty 3 is likely to gain more points for repeated OOTAs and its definetly the strongest in this heat. Yet to see Savage in action, but its specs sound impressive so if it can match those and be effective, its my second pick.

    Heat D
    Kaizer, Kishar, Pillow Torque, Hornet

A very tough heat. Two powerful spinners and a tough-as rambot. Naturally Im going to give it my best shot to get through, but Kaizer will have to stand up to a lot of punishment and if I dont make it through then I would love nothing more than for Hornet to progress and leave a trail of utter destruction in its wake

    Heat E
Mini Mighty Mouse, Ploughbot, Tiny Toon, Beauty 2

Lets be honest. Beauty 2 is a firm favourite although with the larger arena, people fighting the EuroTagUK champ wont be out of the fight quite as quickly as usual. However Mini Mighty Mouse just keeps on going and going and in Ploughbot and Tiny Toon there are two well-armoured tough nuts of robots so it could well be a very close heat.

    Heat F
Hooligan, Pain in the Asp, Tuff Luck 2, Drumroll

    Mon the Drumroll!!
Pain In The Asp will be my biggest obstacle although my aim is to hopefully remove at least one of those nice red wheels! Tuff Luck 2 I have fought before and my only hope is we dont get stuck on each other twice - again! Hooligan is relatively new but by no means an underdog; however I look forward to adding it to my list of robots defeated

    Heat G
Tanto XP, Whirlpool, Dizzy Tilly, J.A.B.O.W 2

Unknown quantities in Tanto XP and J.A.B.O.W 2, although Im assuming both are rambots therefore should be able to pick up points pushing people outside the red line. Whirlpool is seasoned and reliable though so its my top pick.

    Heat H
Terror Turtle, Dragonstrike, Prodigy Evo, BOOM

Not sure on specs of Terror Turtle. Disc-to-disc of Dragonstrike and Prodigy Evo could make for exciting viewing. BOOM is well armoured and should survive most damage from Dragonstrike and Prodigy Evo but my money is on one of the spinners to go through - cant decide which one will prevail though.

I think this competition is going to be fantastic! Lots of great matches to take place, hopefully compelling enough to encourage one of the TV companies to support it.
