Sla battery help please

hi peeps,
have acquired some sla batteries, just wondered how do i charge these?, will pro peak constellation chargers charge them? or a car battery charger? also is their anything i need to be careful of when charging them, they are 12v batteries out of a golf buggy or something. similar size to what you get on a motorbike

The pro peak constellation will charge them, with the settings for Pb (Lead, as in Sealed Lead Acid or SLA), 6 cells (12V). A car battery charger will do as well.

I charged one of our SLA batteries with a car charger once and the battery split! We now use the Pro Peak (and Nicads)

Well, its not natural for an SLA to split while charging with a regular car battery charger. They should be able to cope with that with ease.

I agree with Dave ...Some car chargers are fine others can bollux em....either use the Pro Peak or buy a car charger made for SLAs.
