Spinner venues

Could somebody please tell me the locations of the arenas that allow spinners

Hi Tim, currently we are the only people (Robo Challenge) with an arena capable of running spinners in the UK.
We are based in Aston, Birmingham - which is where most of our events are held.
The DRG also have an arena capable of running spinners which is only a short ferry ride away in the Netherlands.

Does theat include Hw spinners or just Fw.

chris - the robochallenge arena is used just for feathers


i dont know if the specs are good enough for heavys to fight in it but if they did the arena walls/floor will be damaged alot so i doubt they would let this happen

Hi Chris, our arena is built purely for featherweight full combat, although we do run heavyweights for demonstrations (we can run spinners).
The limiting factor for our arena is size, our wall height is not to the FRAs guildlines for heavyweights but lower to the feather class, and our exlcusion zone is 900mm rather than atleast 1m that the Heavyweights need. even if these were increased, the physical floor space wouldnt be enough for a proper fight.
